BTW, if I "stream" radio on the phone thru the web, vs. simply plug in a 3.5mm headphone jack into the "built-in" radio on the phone, which would drain more battery? Not to mention if there is any additional data charges, or how to surf the web while steaming radio on such tiny device...any drain on the CPU or even the download speed while browsing other websites?

Yeah, you can get radio from home, though how often are you at home?

Sorry, I ain't any millionaire who can simply "sit around" and earn money based on investment. Indeed, I WORK everyday and I commute 1-1/2 hours each way to / from work.

Radio stations offer more entertainment where I live than other places I've been to. No, I don't rely on radio for songs, rather various commentary / shows are making fun of the most current news / politics, then in the evening I get some real political / news phone-in shows, and soft-light rock afterwards.

If I remember correctly, the last Moto top-of-the-line phone with radio would be A835. If radio is totally useless, why is Moto "still" offering radio on devices like VE66/EM35/Zn5?

If radio is available on my V3maxx/V8/V9/Q9, I wouldn't be carrying my EM35/Zn5/E6.

And yes, I do miss radio from Moto on its 3G phones...

In fact you bashed x10 stubornly but you cant tell me where you got the official info that x10 has a troble...even you knew it that x10 is still a prototype perfomance...

i bashed milestone? no i didnt bash milestone but CPU perfomance, i just dont like the CPU perfomance but suddenly you dare to compare it with 1GHz snapdragon one then you had bad mouth about the snapdragon, you bashed it..you know i doubt motorola wont use the snapdragon next time so i hope you dont forget what you said about the snapdragon perfomance with omap 3430 550 MHz we were fighting before :)

Droid seems very powerfull, but no... morecan ppl like u stop posting: no radio here and in comments for other phones? if there is no radio thats cos the producer has realized that it is a useless feature. u can listen to radio and watch video from the web. and if no radio has been said b4 dont keep repeating it over and over in the comments. i use a projector much more than a radio but u dont see me posting no projector in every comment.

That is enough for anyone who has a brain. Other companies already have their Android phones on the market. Do you think SE started developing X10 just last month ? They had to announce it so you fanboys have something to bore other people with. If there were no problems, X10 would be on market together with Droid. Or do you think SE wants other companies to sell as many phones as they can before entering the market ???
And I am not bashing anything before it comes out. The only bashing here is made by YOU, SE fanboy who comes to the Moto thread and badmouth Milestone. Do you see me anywhere on the X10 forum ? You constantly accuse me of doing things that you actually do. Do you think people are stupid ? If I wanted to bash X10 then I would post links to videos where people can see how slow, choppy and laggy its UI is. But I am not doing that because it is not final yet and I have some common sense.

X10 was just announced this month and it will take few months to release the phone from its announcement as motorola did with their milestone, they need time to release the milestone...

i told you that milestone has a problem like external speaker then you knew it and i give you the web link officialy about the problem but you? where did you get that x10 has a troble?

you cant said like that coz you always tell me that i cant compare x10 with milestone coz x10 is not out yet but in fact you bashed x10 before you know the final perfomance of x10...

Yes, that is the only thing motorola can do and i doubt that motorola wont use snapdragon next time..if you bash snapdragon it will kill your self..

what cain say about Snapdragon is right, its like defend a 2.26Ghz Pentium M over a 1.8Ghz Core 2 Duo because both are P6 michroarchitecture. Both Snapdragon and Cortex-A8 are ARM bassed but the dedicated graphic is diferent, so what one get in higher clocks the other get in better performance and that make it more powerfull in some applications than other (also depend a lot on software optimization).

X10 is not on market so dont compare with in-market phones, because guess what? when X10 will hit the stores other companies (Motorola, HTC, Samsung, etc) will also announce another cellphones that will put on shame your precious X10.

Also is the price fact, SE most of the times are overpriced, so i spect this X10 cost over €600 without contract (SIM-free) and this moto already cost €450.

And it is possible that in future more Moto phones will use various Qualcomm CPUs. So why should I hate them ? I am not a blind fanboy like you.
X10 obviously has problems optimizing for Snapdragon. All you have to do is turn your brain ON. What else is there in X10 ? 8MP camera ? It is already on the market, no problem there. Android OS ? Already on market. 1GHz Snapdragon CPU ? There's the problem.
Maybe other manufacturers have the same problems. MAYBE even Moto. But they decided to sell phones with different CPUs until they master Snapdragon. Companies are not stupid. They don't cling on to one hardware part and blindly force it. You see, Moto has two Android phones with different CPUs. There is no love or hate here. Only good judgement of what is CURRENTLY the best choice.

I said that 550MHz omap 3430 was BETTER CHOICE for Moto RIGHT NOW then 1GHz Snapdragon. Otherwise Droid would still be in the works. And I said the difference in speed of those CPUs is not that great as you would like to make it by only forcing frequency numbers.
In future all phones will use better and more optimized/ power savvy CPUs. So I don't see you as being especially clever by pointing it out...
And see, even you say that X10 is a prototype device. So, why are you comming here every day and yapping about it ? Let's wait until it is out on the market.

got mine yesterday,believe ne guys its better than iphone in some ways specially if your into multi tasking,where u can open different application w/o closing current apps. not to much application but it has a BT working with other BT device which menas u dont need pc to transfer files and u can personalize without jailbreaking it..but dont take my word for it,better try it guys, cons for me is-its heavy

The USA version in the Verizon store is QWERTY.

Every phone has weaknesses but when will fanboys get tired of going into other phone threads to say "x phone is better than this"? Do phones not come in a range of features, styles, and prices?

Will the X10 be more successful than the Droid? It could be. The Droid has now widened the road to success for all Android phones. For me if given the choice I prefer slide out QWERTYs (I owned an HTC Touch Pro) over virtual (I also owned an iPhone).

We don't hate or bash X10 because it is not yet out and nobody knows how it really performs. Also no one hates 1GHz CPUs. Motorola will surely use faster CPUs in the future. It may be Snapdragon, or some Omap CPU, it really doesn't matter, there are a lot CPUs powerfull enough. SE is having much trouble in optimizing Snapdragon for X10 so it was a good decision by Motorola to go with Omap, otherwise we would be also waiting for February. Milestone uses "only" 550MHz CPU, but is it enough for this kind of phone. All reviews clearly state that this is THE FASTEST Android phone. You act like this is slow, and that just 1GHz would be ok. In reality, Milestone is quite fast, and as I said, quite well balanced phone.
You are a flaming SE fan, everyone can see you in X10 thread, so don't lie that you hope "Moto will fix problems". You would like Moto to fail, but that is not going to happen. And as one guy before me said already, Moto fixed all problem through silent updates, dumb :)
