We must not make mistake Droid vs Iphone 3gs shows Droid being almost fast like iphone and very good on internet but iphone is the best phone in the market while samsung have in market phone with 800 mhz still iphone 3gs better than samsung hd omnia and now Droid is second but for me is the best because of all internet featuring google map and all that and like the speed is the best

When X10 come out, there will be 2 or 3 new Moto phones with better specs than X10

And if you don't want to rush, then you should wait until the next high end Android phone is out so you can compare them. Maybe X10 will prove better, maybe it won't. And maybe something else will come out and beat them all. You can not predict "long life" of a phone even on its launch day, let alone if it isn't even fully functional yet. So, if you are not in a hurry, wait until February and thene we can talk about the prospects.

In fact, I am glad that someone has actuall... moreiam just looking for a great phone whatever its brand...i didnt mean to compare the cpu between milestone and X10 but iam a consumer who want to buy a great phone...i want to feel satisfied with the phone that i will buy(for an expensive phone), it must have long life...about 100000 sales i dont care about that and if you want to know how and what 1GHz snapdragon perfomance is, you can go to official qualcomm site then you will know what i said about this 550MHz and iam not that stupid coz i know the ARM perfomance too...
you know this phone is good but in my feeling or opinion is bad about the milestone CPU...i know ARM or omap3430 perfomance...people cant lie me by their words..iam not blind, a comsumer eyes are opened, iam not a fanatic fan...this is an option...
Maybe 550MHz is good enough for android 2.0 os version but you will know the limited perfomance soon as i said if you run many appli at one time... i doubt the CPU can run next android OS version smoothly...iam not free of it...if i buy this phone with that CPU perfomance so i will be jeulous with other greater android phone easily then iam not so proud with milestone anymore and i want to buy the other phone again..
1GHz is great to make a phone has long life...

First of all, let me ask you something. Are you aware that you're comparing two different types of CPUs ? Do you think that any 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon phone is two times faster then 550 MHz Omap 3430 running Milestone ? Are you aware that Qualcomms 528 MHz CPU runs MUCH slower then Omap 3430 550 MHz, even if it is just 22 MHz difference ?
Have you even read, or seen any of the Milestone reviews ? They all clearly state that this is the fastest Adnroid phone. So no one has any issues with speed. On the contrary, everyone is praising it. Why do you think there is a problem with speed ? You also say that it "only" runs Android 2.0. Are you aware that your X10 is coming out in 4 months (at best) with OS version 1.6 ?
And please, oh please everyone stop with the "long life" phrase. It sounds like a fanboy'tard made phrase. Probably because it is... So, if you want a reasonable discussion, and you are not a blind fanboy, please answer my questions. Thank you.

So where can I buy this X10 then ?we are talking about which phone do you think is better and long life..this phone is good that has many features (android 2.0 features) but unfortunetly i just dont like the cpu, the cpu perfomance is limited,i dont feel free to run many applications at one time coz the phone will be slow down or lag and you can only use the android 2.0 version and i doubt milestone will work smootly on next android OS version like android 2.5 or 3 upgradely...In 2010 it will be outdate, 2010 is 1GHz era.
With 1GHz you can upgrade the x10 OS freely, not only android 2.0 but higher android version...so i must not buy other 1GHz android phone...X10 is enough for me..if i buy this phone i will not be satisfied then i will sell this phone again for buying a greater android phone than this in 2010...it means "i buy it, no satisfied then i will sell it again in 2010.
only 3 months that you have...
this is not a complain but it is an option so you shouldnt be angry...
