      According to mobile-review.com

Given that my main phone these days is the Nokia N97, plus I've got the HTC Hero as my secondary phone, I was elated to get the mix of these two devices in the Motorola Milestone. Hero's flexibility and interface speed with a keyboard that tops that of the N97. Surprisingly, the Milestone is a decent phone with great build quality and a dazzling display. The thing that will hold it back a little, though, is its price tag - 400-450 Euro without a contract (set to land on most markets in December).

Those who are looking for a QWERTY-enabled device jam-packed with features and a likable, speedy interface, the Milestone is the way to go. In fact, there aren't many phone like that out there - maybe the Nokia N900, but it's considerably slower, less stable and doesn't offer comparable functionality out of the box. In my opinion, the choice is very clear and Nokia is not what's on my mind. "Milestone" is a very fitting name for this phone - it will make an impact on the market and won't go unnoticed. Those who are into expensive and well-crafted things, should definitely put the Motorola Milestone on their short lists.

DO u guyz still wanna compare it wid N900, X10, N97???

Anonymous, 13 Nov 2009Before you say"milestone is the best" and before you buy it... moreSooo... We can't say that Milestone is the best Android phone right now because in 4 months time there will be a new phone on the market ? That's a "smart" thing to say.
In 4 months X10 will go against Milestone tablet version. And I even dare predict that Moto will get there first.
So I realy can't see the point of your post.

Before you say"milestone is the best" and before you buy it. You must watch this important video below :

          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEdbJ9bIyN8

Note : The phone of that video is a early prototype device ( prototype perfomance), the phone will come out on february or march. So the company of the phone is evolving and increasing the perfomance.there's still 3 or 4 month left for evolving that phone

february is not too far from now, that is your options

          thanks

the good thing of this android phone is only the keyboard hardware
the applications and the features ? you can find it in android market or android 2.0 OS
multi touch perfomance is not smooth if you compare it with iphone's
550MHz ? Next there will be many phones with better CPU than this

But it's definitely worth it today:

I'm an iphone user. Today, I went to the Verizon store to check out the droid. And here's my impression:

It feels solid in your hand. The keyboard slides out smoothly. Although I've seen and used better keys. I can actual type faster on my iphone's virtual keyboard.

Touch sensitivity is really good. It's responsive, although the iphone still has the better touchscreen. There's somehow a degree of fluidity and smoothness that the iphone has, that other touchscreen phones just can't seem to match. Although I must say that the droid is not that bad at all, and I would say that if you haven't used an iphone, the droid would do just fine.

I played around with its screens and apps. It's as quick as the iphone in opening apps. The screen transitions are smooth as well. But loading of pics took a little while. With the iphone, it's instant.

I'm a facebook addict, so its facebook app was the first one I tried out. For those who haven't used the iphone, I think you'd find its facebook app alright. But for an iphone user like me, it was frustrating and does not come close to the way the iphone's facebook app works.

I wanted to play around with it more, but I didn't want to hog the device for there were others who were waiting for me.

My conclusion. It is definitely not an iphone killer, but it is a fine touchscreen phone. It's screen resolution is very nice and actually better than the iphone. But it's ui is still behind the iphone's. As impressive the droid may be, it's not worth for me to switch from an iphone. But for those who never used the iphone and don't want At&t, the droid is definitely the best choice.
