who said that motorola milestone is outdate?
he just said" The cpu perfomance of this phone is not enough for the hardware, software and alot of such features" he though the cpu is good for 1.6 version and not this version. he didnt say this phone is bad, isnt it? maybe you can say this phone is fast but he though if this phone used android 1.6 version it would be faster than this. i think he like this phone but he just dont like the cpu perfomance.

And I start getting tired of people calling "motorola fans" whoever is saying nice thing about the Milestone.
We're not necessary fan of the brand, but we just appreciate a nice piece of device when we see one.

So I apologize if I was more aggressive than intended. ;)

This "anonymous" guy just got caught in the conversation with the other "anonymous", the one that "cain" was talking to.

I was teasing the fact that you (you or whoever was the "anonymous" guy earlier, that's why I don't like when people just put "anonymous") said the milestone was out of date because the X10 was coming out in about 4 months.. which is a stupid statement: you have to compare with what is already out.

and yes... the milestone is already out in North America since last friday: it's called motorola DROID.

This forum is about the milestone (or droid) which is (from what I could judge by playing with it at Verizon store) a really good product from Motorola.

I'm tired of people coming on GSMarena to bash on phones they never had in hands.

well.....milestone IS the fastest android 2.0 runnin phone out there as of now.....but not the fastest.....the title goes to HTC HD2.....available...
but milestone is THE fastest android out there.....bt not the only android 2.0......HTC hero got their upgrades....
and the milestone will remain as the fastest android phone but not certain if the acer neotouch and the liquid is out or not....though i think the neotouch is out...and if it is......moto lost the title...but that remains to be seen as the moto apparently can overclock its cpu....
anyways.....the milestone will only have the title uptil february....until the X10 arrives....until then cheers to moto........:)

Faster phones will surely come. And even faster ones after those. When they come out we will compare them. But for the time being, this IS the fastest, and probably overall best Android phone.

i think you are missunderstanding with "out there" word of me, i didnt mean to say you can buy now but you can find the phone in the other forum and the other site..okay!!

the phone hasnt released yet but the phone is the first android phone of the company like the motorola milestone...

lets compare the both phones

1st android phone versus 1st android phone is very deal, the problem is only released date of the phone.

john, 10 Nov 2009Yeah, I agree with you, we tell about the truth based on ou... moreYes, Acer has 768MHz underclocked Snapdragon CPU. Which should work quite well. Especially considering that Acer has lower screen resolution, and Android 1.6. So it should be one snappy phone.
On the other hand Milestone has OMAP3430 Cortex A8 CPU, which still belongs to a different CPU family and they cannot be compared with sheer numbers. In addition to that it has the PowerVR SGX 530 GPU in charge of graphics. So, as I said it is really a matter of implementation and not a simple 1000>999 thing.
Anyway, all Android phones have their place, and are good in their own way. Just keep it real.

How do you feel with the droid QWERTY keyboard slide?? It's nice to type?? And how about the battery? I'm not sure that it have a same power like the htf hero, cause it was 350hours, it seems like droid battery is little bite worst than htc hero I guess
