Heng, 29 Sep 2010Good day Henry, thanks very much for information. I noticed... moresorry Heng, missed out the last Q hahaha. how do i know it's overclocked? example when u set the freq. to 800mhz/60vsel in 1 of the default setting, u'll felt your Milestone is running smoother. Especially during web browsing and running Papago GPS. Scrolling also u're able to notice that it's smoother than before too. Lesser lag i should say. Another way to know wat's ur current CPU reading is via this app named 'Know CPU for RockPlayer'. Default clock, it'll read at 549Mhz. After u o/cloced it e.g to 800mhz, it'll read and shown 849Mhz :) Give it a try, no harm trying/exploring the world of Android and their abilities with our Milestone ;)

Heng, 29 Sep 2010Good day Henry, thanks very much for information. I noticed... morehello there Heng how's things ur side? oic, no wonder ur phone is heating up. i guess it's pretty common for it to get heat up at a certain warm level but it'll not as warm/hot as those that going to explode ur set away hahaha no worries k? my unit oso get warm especially during GPS. How to overclock? here's wat i learned from 'googling' all over. Get yr self the Milestone Overclock via Android Market, and then, find ur self the UniversalAndroot to Root yr milestone. with these two, u can overclock ur Milestone d. hhmmmm so far, so good. i overclocked mine as suggested and well, yeah, still lasted me 1.5 ~ 2 days. i o/c at its default 800mhz. by the way, read this article, kinda surprise to read it. It's about Task Killer n RAM tat utilized by our Android OS. here's the link : http://www.androidauthority.com/index.php/2010/09/30/the-myth-about-android-application-task-killers-revealed/

by the way i found out tat this Milestone sometimes it "automatically" activate "this" and "that" and causes us headache example the "unexpected" data for the apps running. tips from forum, i've use the APNDroid to settle this issue. So far so good. Else it'll burn a hole in my pocket during paying phone bill hahaha.
good luck mate!

Don't know why, my milestone, drain battery so fast while using 3G, and become overheat, sometime temperature go about 49 Degree C, that i need APNoff to turn it off, so that it can cool down... and now sometime when i plug charging in it, instead of charging, it become very hot, and battery drain... does anyone experience the same like mine? And I found out that using wifi, doesn't use up much battery, and battery not become hot also. I always use 3G on, because of my unlimited data plan... no reason that i use wifi... and my 3.5G plan speed is so fast....

Just got my 2nd hand Milestone few days ago, with good condition...all I can say is,the built is superb.feel just nice to hold on hand.screen wise is clear n bright and slide mechanism oso felt solid.
Wifi get connected within 8sec n gps on papago x5 locked within 2min for cold start! Browser is good n render pages fast plus the panning is silky smooth compare to my previous 5800 n Omnia 2.
Only downside are the Android Market sometimes down n oso worst part the data activate/run auto by itself. Thank god for APNDroid that helped disable data n with milestoneoverclock truly made the unit run like a breeze!!!
Not regret having this set...infact I'm typing this review via milestone...bravo moto!!!
