Battery test on Android devices
shows DROID X shines, AMOLED
devices fall short
Over at LaptopMag, they
have conducted a test on a
variety of Android devices
to compare battery life.
Devices included in the test were:
HTC
Incredible
EVO 4G
Samsung
Vibrant
Captivate
Motorola
DROID 2
DROID X
Dell
Streak
The results? According to the
article, “Motorola’s two flagship
phones, the Droid 2 and the Droid
X, ruled the roost, but phones
with attractive AMOLED screens
clearly fell behind the pack. The
worst phone for battery life that
we tested was the HTC Droid
Incredible, which managed an
average of only 4 hours and 33
minutes, compared to the Droid
X ’s 7 hours and 42 minutes of
endurance.”

If you merely voice, text plus web via EDGE, you should get the Motorola Karma QA1 instead of Milestone.

From 05:15 am to 23:00 the battery reach 15 % of capacity.
I don´t need to charge along the day.
But....the milestone????

Thanks, at least moto hasn't rejected upgrade for milestone asian.
but, remember since it was advertised as flash ready, i won't take no for the answer. Motorola will lose its loyal customer if they neglect us in asia.

100 Moto, 24 Aug 2010Yeah, price of one Galaxy S, you can buy one Milestone plus... moreprice difference btw milestone and galaxy s is 70euro so not such bad the other thing,slide mechanism on my phone is still good but there is created a small gap approx. 2mm which wasn't on new phone! otherwise im happy with milestone especially when is going to get froyo[apps on sd!!!]but as i could play at o2shop with couple androids i appreciate galaxy s the most,it is real iphone killer

Phone is nice to look at but the colours are not very vibrant. Mic on the phone is not very good and returned the first one for the same issue. Cuts out my voice when talking and its not a network issue from what I understand.
Lots of useless aps for the phone and thousands are free so thats good.
I'm selling this one after 2 months of owning it to get a samsung. Milestone wasn't worth the money spent.
