I purchased a new XT720 Dec 24, 2010. Almost two weeks into it and most of my experiences have been good. But I've had trouble with it three times where for no apparent reason, the touch screen will go haywire. I might push on and app, and one on the other side of the screen gets pressed and opens. I can't drag the home screen left and right, it either presses an app, or doesn't work at all. And if the phone is locked, it can be almost impossible to slide the screen to unlock it. The first time this happened, I reset the phone completely and had to reboot 4 or 5 times. Its happened twice since then, and I've had to reboot 4 or 5 times.
Anyone have any thoughts? Cincinnati Bell wanted me to bring the phone in while I was actually having the problem, but the nearest store is an hour away from where I work and I can't wait all day with a phone that is non functional to get it to them.
Its also frustrating that sometimes when I reboot the phone, my sd card doesn't register and I have to reboot again in order for it to recognize it.
I use task killer to make sure nothing is running in the background that shouldn't be, but it doesn't help the issue.

Setting > Wireless & Networks > Wifi Setting
Turn on Wifi and system should automatically search for the available wifi connection. Once you get connected, open a web browser and it should work.

a lot prob can be solve by reflash to US cinebell rom and follow the intruction.. hd recording can be improve by format sdcard to 64kb cluster fat32/custom build.prop and US Rom

Battery drains out very fast, if you use the GPS. Also the handset gets heated up near battery. not sure if this is the designed functionality. any reccomendations to avoid or improve.

I use to own first milestone , but must say this phone is by far better. Better speed , battery life and camera. Also not so heavy. I can recomend it

hi guys. i got this phone 2 weeks back and loving every bit of it, not to mention the battery though, buts its the prob wit all other phones. i am facing a few difficulties, will anybody be able to help me out..
1.for using wi-fi in my phone, i need to type in my networks proxy address and port, but i dont know where to type them.
2.and after i receive files thru bluetooth, 'm not able to access them unless i switch off and on my phone.
pl help me out guys..thank you..

awesome phone.. very slim..looks rich.. sleek and metal finish adds to the good looks.. the battery isnt that great.. but as a full touch its fine.. hd recording is awesome.. and photos come really good.. a very very nice phone :) go for it..

Is there any app to view content like photo via HDMI to TV? HD video recording is bad. 16 FPS is too low. Any solutions to improve its video quality? Thanks

But I would like to wait for official version in which Motorola might feature continuous autofocus in HD video recording ;)

tis is a super machine at a cool price.. with slighly tweak with less thn 15 minute effort u running a hell beast with a stable enclair.. play gameloft game flawlessly.. and 1 more tips.. tis phone does take dark photo if no flash and img stabilizer on.. off the img stabilizer it ll not dark..
