I 've been using this phone and m very satisfied. I used Iphone 3g for 2yrs and now bought xt720 along with that.I was bored with iphone's lack of customization and that's not an issue with xt720. Before buying i read reviews that it has slow processor, xenon is not effective etc etc but that's not true. It has so much that u wont repent after buying. One more thing, why u all want android 2.2 or 2.3 ? any benifits?

Why motorola don't want upgrade this phone to froyo?
It's stuck only in eclair. The specification can handle froyo well I think.

What is the maximum resolution of the video that you can play on this phone??
I tried 800x480 but it looses synchronization between audio and video.

Anonymous, 14 Dec 2010best quality phone available all phone sucks near xt720 i p... moreThumbs up! for MOTOROLA. But atleast they should reconsider on keeping this phone on 2.1. They should think once for froyo 2.2 update!
Atleast they should unlock the bootloader so that we can flash custom 2.2 roms like cyanogen. (even 2.3 Gingerbread in future!!)

best quality phone available all phone sucks near xt720 i purchased three phones sony x10 65000 color display .galaxys rubbish camera and the winner is motorola xt720 .a phone is phone .go to ghaffar market people selling 2 days old phone for half the price .so dont waste money motorola is world leader made xt720 best phone

[deleted post]If your budget is high wait for GOOGLE SAMSUNG NEXUS S(might be available in next 2 weeks).
But if want budget HIGH END android phone, with lightning 8MP camera, and good multimedia + internet browsing.MILESTONE XT720 is your phone.
