Exactly how good is the camera? I'm now using a Satio, but thinking about getting this phone.
Or should I wait for the Altek Leo? That one has better camera for sure, but it's a bit fat with a smaller screen...
Could someone link a page that compares XT720 photos to Satio photos?

just to add...i installed app saver from the market & i did manage to save all the applications on the SD card with the help of app saver. post that i check my memory status, which showed space used on SD but the space on internal memory remained unchanged. how do i enhance internal memory once i m done with saving on sd card....???

Hey, I am planning to buy this phone as my contract is going to over. Does this phone nice? Of course it is beautiful and classy. But I want to know whether this phone's sound quality better than Nokia e72 or not. Besides, does this phone's camera take clear and nice photo? Is it a pleasure watching movies using this phone? I dont mind convert it as I have the software. Yours answer will help me a lot. Thanks.

how do i use the sd card memory while downloading stuff from android market? my moto uses internal memory by default.
also is there any way i can increase my internal memory?
Currtently it only shows 122mb.

Phone is excellent but android Os has some issues like
1: no speed dial 2: quick dial is length process 3: we cant delete all entries from Calendar, need to remove one by one which is most painful process, 4: C-tiuch is too sensitive, 5: XT720 has very poor battery life, 6: Exchange mail sync options are limited, like no peak and off-peak time facility 7: Tilt response is not that immediate like other phones 8: SMS message incomming and outgoing indication is missing which is biggest pain 9: Message delivery reort is not working properly 10: Phone unlocking is at time bit hazy 11: at time phone hangs
Note: motorola Helpdesk is excellent , quick and responsive

Phone is good but battery life need to be better, it does not last for one whole day.

The slow camera and painfully jerky HD video capture, stuttering when scrolling through the menu and changing home-screens all make the European MILESTONE XT720 feel grossly underpowered for a current generation smart-phone. It does deliver however in providing a comprehensive set of features, that could be worth the sacrifice in finesse. Without the slick user experience we’ve come to expect from other phones such as the HTC Desire, and the Apple iPhone 4, we would recommend either of these as alternatives to the Motorola MILESTONE XT720. If you are looking for an Android alternative with a decent camera, check out the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 as well."

i got a problem of the shutter of the camera being closed
it's not closed all the time..sometime it opens but i dn't know what makes it opens
most of the time it's closed which makes the camera dark...camera is working fine, just that the shutter is closed, so it's dark
anyone can solve it?

"XT720 of either UK or German origin can now download new software that increases the processor speed (to 720mhz) and also introduces DLNA functionality."

Droid Pro, 14 Sep 2010I'm like the XT720 also but I wish to get the Droid x GSM v... moreDefy going to Tmobile? That's good becasue I may totally ditch AT&T then!
Even though I only go back to US few times a year, I find AT&T's Customer Service being rather crappy. Lines are always long and my questions seldom get answered.
But the truth is AT&T offers better (3G) coverage than Tmobile around the Bay Area.
