Wake up ... What will it 8 megapixels, xenon flash and video recording in hd, Without a good lens and a large image sensor?? Answer: NOTHING! This unit does not excite me even a little ... Insist while Motorola did not disclose ... What is the lens used?? The opening and the focal lens focal length used?? And especially the type and size of the image sensor Used?? Still in the field of Androids prefer the X10 and Sony Ericsson cameraphones 8 Mp ... C905,N86 and Pixon!

Motorola planning four phones with “front facing cameras” this year

During an interview after a business presentation today, Motorola’s CEO Sanjay Jha dropped a fair few hints about the company’s future developments – including the fact it’s planning to launch FOUR new phones with some sort of front facing camera this year. He didn’t specifically say they’d be Android models, that’s simply us doing some assuming.

Jha also said sales of the Motorola DROID were still going very well, and hinted that problems with supply are actually hindering uptake of the chunky QWERTYUIOP Android phone in the States.

Sanjay is a happy man, basically. We hope he’s on a good performance-related bonus package.
Personally, we’re very dubious about the need for front facing cameras, after a completely disastrous attempt to sell them in the UK during the 3G network launch phase of the mid-2000s. But what do we know? We signed up for an HTC Magic in September of 2009, don’t listen to us.

I really, I mean really hope this thing either makes it stateside as a GSM phone or I can get a GSM unlocked. I've been waiting for this thing ever since the XT701 was introduced. The 8mp camera with a xenon flash really sets it apart from any other Android phone out there. The Galaxy is a whole new breed of amazing, but this phone has the few little features that the Galaxy is lacking, on being a flash. This phone is styled nicely and it dosn't appear to be cheaply built either. The MotoDroid is an awesome phone, and thing thing just blows that out of the water. If it was equipped with that killer little SnapDragon Processor.
