Owner of this spanking new Moto E past one week. here goes a crisp review:
+ Looks and feels great in hands, back cover is ultimate in comfort levels.
+ Smooth software UI, no lags whatsoever.
+ Decent Notification light, feels good to have one around.
+ Camera quality is above good and way better than Xperia M (my ex phone)
+ Sound quality of the external speaker is good clarity wise.
+ Battery as mentioned by company stands for one whole day.
Here are some negatives:
- Rear panel isn't fixed properly and i can see a much visible gap in the mobile = lots of dust gets inside the phone panel, quite tough to remove too.
- Chunky when kept in pockets and will make you feel that you have a mobile with you.
- Heats up nicely when charging and when it's being used continuously (I didn't put any covers or guards)
- Comes only with some google apps, where the rest apps should be downloaded.
- Annoys with reminders for alarms (not audibly but in notification area)
- Scares people around if the ringtone volume is kept at 3/4th level.
--------------------------------------------
So far have a good opinion about it,and recommend for people who needs a phone with latest features available in market with bang for the buck tag attached.
If you are a camera(add selfie)savvy and can't leave without the flashlight, better don't buy it but you'll love the picture quality, especially with HDR on.

Motorola Moto E Gaming Review
Motorola gave sleepless nights to every manufacturer out there with the release of the Moto E. It packs a Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor with Adreno 302 GPU, 1 GB RAM running Android 4.4.2 KitKat right out of the box all for Rs. 6999. Yes, at that price you can't get a better phone right now. So, we wanted to check how it performs at Gaming, if the benchmarkshave anything to say, its going to be excellent. So, here's the Gaming Review of the Moto E Dual-SIM XT1022.
Gaming Review
Lets start with the good. We played several high-end games on the Moto E including Asphalt 8, FIFA 14, GT Racing 2 as well as Dead Trigger 2, Frontline Commando: D-Day, Riptide GP2, Temple Run 2 and Subway Surfers. Every game played brilliantly with all of them running in high-settings. The display is another pleasure to look at, its sharp with excellent touch-response. The viewing angles are wide, leaving no distortion in brightness or colors, and to that point the color reproduction is also brilliant. The speakerphone which is in the front is loud and clear, something again missing from this segment.
However, the phone does run a bit warm while playing games. Its not exactly hot, but you can feel it getting warmer. Then, the main concern app-data is not movable to the SD card. So you have about 2 GB to install your games. Therefore, we were not able to installed the larger games due to lack of space. Although apps are movable to the SD card.
Conclusion
Motorola has another big hit on the horizon. The Moto E is an excellent performer at gaming, each and every game we threw at it worked wonderfully well. The display on the Moto E is by far the best display on any phone available in this segment, with excellent color reproduction and wide viewing angles. Moreover, the speakerphone is loud and clear, making gameplay even better.
It would have been great if app-data was movable to the SD card on the Moto E, but maybe that's asking a bit too much.
