Guys I don't know how everyone compares phones but I know one of the right ways to compare some phones of same price range.
1st of all you'll notice many phones with same specs (like - 1 gb RAM, Dual core Processor, Expandable memory) But if most of the phones are having same specifictaions in almost same price range then how can you actually compare their performance.
Here I am giving you an idea of doing so.
First of all check for - PPI (Pixels Per Inch). this is called pixel density. More the Pixel density, more is the crispy picture quality of screen. Within same price range ppi differs considerably and that decides the quality of screen. (It should be more obviously. eg- moto e has 255 ppi while xperia E has 233 and nokia x also has 233 ppi and canvas A177 has 194 ppi.
secondary if 2 phones are loaded with same processor dont jst think that their performance will be same. check for "benchmark tests" of that phone and compare it with the same benchmark tests of other phone. This determines the overall speed and performance of the phone.
As far as moto E is concerned its benchmark tests are better than most of the phones at this price range.
some guys dont understand it but its directly related to performance of the phone. So if you want a better idea of the performance and for complete satisfaction do check PPi and becnchmark tests.

AnonD-263307, 13 May 2014No dude ...Google sold Motorolla on jan 2014 to lenovo...so... moreMOTO and Lenova have reached an agreement. The deal is still not complete there are lot of formalitites to be completed. so untill that happens MOTO is still a GOOGLE company and not LENOVA.

Ashok, 13 May 2014many have complained few spec of MOTO E which are listed be... morewhen it ia priced at an unbelievably affordable rate, ratwwould naturally have a few cpmpromises. but in my opinion, things like absence of a front camera pr flash isnt a big deal. at this price point, none of the other brands, particularly the international ones offer 1 gb RAM and android kitkat. it has all other standard features that any entry to mid level roast phones have. so what if the battery is not removable? even if the battery is removable, if any problem arises you Will still have to take it to the service center. so stop thinking too much and go ahead and buy this. you can use it for a year or twotwo and then move on to the next phone. no one user a phone for more than 2 years these days. this will surely be good enough for that. I have cooled mine on flipkart. can't wait to enjoy the android kit kat experience.
