don't Connect to 3g on 3g mode even sim works fine on others phone. any solution. give feedback. otherwise awesome set.

I bought a MOTO E because I thought it was a dual sim phone. When I take the back off, there is a slot for the SIM and below that on the same side, a slot for a microSD. Can a SIM card be put in the microSD slot? The model is XT1023.I am going to be very disappointed if I do not have a dual sim card phone. Please help me. Thanks
