Bought the G14 from the best buy recommendation by reliable GSMArena, after trawling for 2 weeks, with contenders failing on reviews, including no ingresss Protection, to no OS updates, to quality & price ratio. A replacement for us, after the glass Xiaomi Redmi 10 Pro, a homebound backup, died after 9 months; and the repaired no ingress protection, loaned out, Asus Zen4, fell into a toilet. This Moto g14,via Germany, for €104, June 2024 is better than the GSM review: calls filter background traffic & people noise, for the other side; no laging; indoor and outdoor photos on a par with my recently gallery lagged Redmi 9T, fixed on Android 10. G14 is solid, but not a brick. Upon updating via SIM, took hours of 6 pack updates, around 3GB, going back to November 2023, to android 13, on a Sunday. So available public WiFi used since then!

I got my Motorola Moto G14 8GB/256GB a few months ago. It's an amazing phone that seems to hold well over time if you buy the bigger capacities.
I bought mine for 159€, which it was very competitive. I do not recommend to buy the one with 64GB, that is too little by today's standards. If you can get the one with 128GB or 256GB even better.
I have only notice a problem with WiFi that drives me crazy. It disconnects all the time, the wifi is really unstable. It drives me crazy.
Any advice?

Nice phone for the everyday, but its extremly laggy. I been having this phone since May, and now mid august I encountered tons of bugs: beep laggy sounds (listening to music or just doing a sudden task); apps goes missing in the home screen but not the "menu" OR viceversa; i cant hold any app or widget so its basically anything is stuck there until i restart the phone; idk yall but i dont have NFC(?. My last motorola phone was a G8 Plus, the only issue i had with that phone is some very important signal or wifi issues. Now with this one im glad i dont have those issues but i have those bugs instead. You can keep using this phone? Yeah! I always had already used laggy phones so I found ways to find the apps or anything. Its a 6.50/10 for me.

I always preferred the hole punch display over the V cutout that every phone seems to have. The stereo speakers sound amazing too and I never liked how unnecessarily tall and big phones are becoming. The Redmi 13C is the better phone overall out of the three you mentioned apart from the screen resolution and lack of NFC

Sti... moreI have seen one at pep while I was browsing and I thought maybe they made a mistake, so it's really a 64Gg version?? The G14 was or still is on the line up phones that I want as a second phone but I'm having a hard time to choose between the G14, Vivo Y03, Redmi 13C, Hisense E70 pro, Realme note 50, Samsung A05's, and the Redmi A3 will be my last resort if they run out of stock or see one in a life time bargain. Here's what I wanna use the back-up phone for: Play call of duty moderately, I watch TV Series mostly on weekends, read tons of stuff on and off internet, listen to music and podcasts, I'm not into social media stuff, so would u recommend the G14 or u would advise I opt for Redmi 13C or Vivo Y03??

In South Africa, it's only sold with 64GB storage. Still has 4GB RAM with "RAM Boost" available after an update up to an additional 4gb. It also lacks fast charging although it still charges reasonably quick with a 10w charger (less than 2 hours from 0-100%). Speakers sound amazing, tweak the EQ and you got some iPhone level sound. Display is nice and sharp and I don't really mind that it's 60hz only. I'll take the higher resolution any day. My only gripe is the cameras. The 50mp is worthless. The selfie cam isnt any better. Definitely needs some tweaking. And I can't seem to find a working GCam port for it. Otherwise, solid phone. Better than the Samsung A05
