Anonymous, 21 Jan 2025Redmi Note 13 is very bad. Poor performance snapdragon 680 ... more685 had a significant improvement compared to 680.
by the way, redmi note 13 is still the best in daily usage. it has UFS 2.2 so expect faster loading times.
if the original comment i replied, wants a second hand phone or used phone i could've recommended an old flagship or midrange..

Poor performance snapdragon 680 with Adreno 610 gpu which is over 6 years old at this point. Don't buy. My recommendation for similar price point are as follows: Samsung Galaxy A34, Samsung Galaxy A15, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Motorola G54. If you can get an older flagship, get Samsung Galaxy S10e with powerbank (because battery is low capacity). Very cheap and very good performance with Snapdragon 855, if not the best you can find in this price point. Maybe you can find even regular S10 too, but don't go anything below S10. S9 has good processor too, but it's last android update is too old for today standards even in budget phones categories.

you have to suffer, 09 Jan 2025that's not how it works, the G81 is a rebranding G80 w... moreBro do you really think manufacturers care about that garbage? Of course they don't, manufacturers making these kind of phones care more about minimising production costs then they do about lag or rehashing the same SoC.
If performance cores mean nothing then I guess taking the a75 cores out of this SoC and replace them with a55 cores then the performance should remain unchanged according to your logic.
Quick tip for people here: never take advice from a dude/ dudette/ other who's profile picture is an anime character.

Wish I took that device back in 2011 then I could have saved myself some trouble by finding a phone with some ancient arm11 core instead of whatever SoC's were considered back then.

this completely justifies that "performance cores means nothing"
it only runs fast if it's in android 10 until 12.

Anonymous, 05 Jan 2025G15 has 1080p screen, but G45 has 720p. 🤦🏻♂️720p on a 6.7 inch device. Standard resolution for normal (office, home etc) pc monitors is 1080p. Perhaps you and me should take a trip to the early 2000's where 1024×768 was the norm for PC'S and anything above 240p on a phone would have been considered a miracle.

If you thin... moreperformance cores means nothing. the G81 is basically G80 with new naming. this might be a successor to that G22. android 15 and 1080p screen can put more work to the soc itself. given that G80/G85 is designed to run on android 10 to 12.

If you think this phone is too miserable to use you haven't seen the G22. Probably one of the worst phones ever released in the past 10 years.
