McQ, 03 Oct 2023One the best I've used, but by far worst vibration ever.So, it has a vibration motor after all.
Mine which is new, i unboxed it myself, has no vibration at all😭

AnoM, 28 Feb 2023Latest was updated to security patch 1st Janurary 2023, And... moreThe lastest security patch is of march 2023 and moto g30 has reached eol in terms of software updates as per motorola website. If anybody is still using this phone can install crdroid rom.

It featur... moreI think you can't compare this to Samsung A8 since after so long time, all smartphone prices have increased, and with the same old pricing of Samsung A8, you now only can get downgraded specs smartphone. This Motorola G30 only best can be described as entry level smartphone, not even up to par with any mid-range, this should answer for the camera part where it is due to budget. For whatever reason, I don't know why this is selling so expensive in other place, while it's sister phone counterpart, Lenovo K13 Pro is selling quite cheap, almost half of the price.

This Motorola I bought to replace my Samsung A8.
It features are really really long battery life and when you need to charge your phone it has very fast charging.
It still runs really fast and has stock Android I let my friend try it out and he couldn't believe how fast the phone was and he normally uses a high-end iPhone.
Probably the biggest downside with all the Motorola phones is the camera is not great at all are you off quite often you get blurry photos and you really got a be careful when taking photos to ensure that you get a half decent one. I bought the purple one day as a bit of a joke because I didn't like the black one sits in a case anyway. ID recommend these phones to anyone wants to cheap phone that works fairly decently.

Bought this to replace my Samsung A8 which I dropped and broke. I hadn't really loved the Samsung I had prior swapping over to the Motorola after hearing some good reviews and great pricing. First of all it's worth really well the only issue I've ever had with it is it sometimes I have accidentally put it into disability mode which has double finger tap and double finger swipe once you figure out you put it into that mode you can just easily disable it. There is no back button you have to swipe on the left-hand side of screen to go back it takes a little bit of getting used to it once you get used to it it works fine. The phone is still fast and browsers websites well and opens apps. I gave it to a friend of mine to try out and you were shocked at the speed of the phone. He normally has a Hyundai home and he mentioned that this Motorola phone is actually faster. The battery life on here is fantastic free day without charging is no problem

The clone of this phone Lenovo K13 Pro does get Android 12 updates, and got another 1st August 2022 security patch on September. So far everything works almost flawlessly, only limit by it's poor processor for more heavy gaming. Android Auto works flawlessly with GPS app such as Google Map and Waze despite no gyroscope and compass, but it just work. Also works flawlessly with Android Auto music listening, I use the old way, store my song in 128GB Micro SD card, and played via AIMP music app. NFC works too by pairing my Sony wireless earphone with NFC casing. As a daily driver, this is about more than enough for me considering I'm not doing heavy gaming.

My phone stopped working fully one night without giving any prior indication of any issues.
It was less than 1 year old and a friend of mine that is a tech expert said that it was set to hard lock and there was nothing that could be done to restore it.
It cost me around £160 in 2021 and now any phone with the same specs is around £250.
Just sharing my experience with this and wondering if anyone else had the same issue with this phone.
It worked perfectly until it didn't.

After updating from Android 11 to 12 after June, 2022, the phone started giving problem of black screen. It happened more frequently with the time passing when phone become a bit heated especially to the upper portion i.e., from Camera area to moto fingerprint scanning area. The update of Android 12 in moto g30 is giving headache.

Anonymous, 20 Mar 2022phone get ANDROID 12 update did u get it conclusion a... moreYes, got the update automatically a couple of weeks a go. So far no problems. Everything works fine as before. I don't like some things in the new UI of 12, but that's another story. Performance wise no problems.
