I've had this phone for 3 years now. Last security update in August. Of course I'm on Android 13, I wonder how long until this phone will become obsolete software wise lol

Very Cool and Edge 40 it's stuck to Android 14 with Security Patch 1 June 2025! It's incredible!

It's possible to be the last Security Patch? Because on Moto Lenovo page Moto G32 appears the support End in August 2025!

Moto user, 15 Mar 2025Best phone in all areas for it's price . I recommend ❤️❤️❤️Yes it's good phone but remaining with Android 13 and in the summer July - August 2025 the security update from Moto Lenovo will STOP.
Practically it's the end of the Life official! You need to install a Custom ROM for Extended Life of your phone!

This Phone it's stoping to receive security update in this summer probably July - August 2025 ! I want to ask how can I get to install a Custom Rom Calyx Os . Someone install this OS and how can obtain the code from Motorola to unlock 🔓 the bootloader? Thank you very much!

A great machine. never tested for gaming, but video editing over Ig was very good. sound quality I found it great, even when streaming it to bluetooth. a loss as recent G## on motorola, are not that good or missing some features this one have, very slick on the hand

I bought a 4GB/128GB AU version of the G32 in 5-Nov-2022.
Initially the phone was great and then after a year I bought a OnePlus 12 24GB/1TB.
I use the G32 as a wifi extender between my laptop and router for the following year and it works fine, but....
The back of the phone has swollen up like a balloon with a big air pocket behind the rear case plastic.
The glue has started to give way and it won't be long before the back just drops off.
The battery still shows 100% life when tested, which surprises me.
But reality is the quality of this phone is not even going to last the software update period.
Yeah that annoying forced updater rubbish is still trying to force updates down my throat even though the phone os or apps are not even used at all (apart from teather/wifi).
The phone is not even worth rooting to kill the forced updates rubbish.
Since it will be in the the garbage bin before the os/software cycle is even finished.
Would only buy this phone or any moto phone if your happy with a trouble free 1 year life expectency.
Cause at 2 years your great moto toy ends up falling apart due to inferior materials quality.

This is one of the very best phones in this price range. It has decent camera results and very good speakers and very smooth day to day usage.
While stock rom is still good, I installed LineageOS 21 (Andriod 14) on my device (XT2235-3). It is running rock solid with awesome battery screen-on timings on LOS21.

Just sold my Note 20 Ultra and bought this for side usages, I've to tell I'm really impressed with everything except for charging. I don't miss my Note at all. Everything is well balanced. And for charging I don't think 30W is supported in this device.
