I am still waiting for some updates. There should be an option to turn off the vibration in the fingerprint sensor and regarding the alarm even with a headset plugin the phone still sound comes out in the speaker.

the video camera isn't so bad, if you're on a budget and looking for a decent camera to go with this phone is definitely a good choice!

I have been using this phone for two weeks. I can confirm that it is ok, very good for the price. I have the 2gb/16gb version (europe so no compass:( on the outside phone looks really great, although its not "metal design" as advertised. only part of the back plate is aluminum. buy a protective case as the edges are plastic. I owned a moto g and i can say g5 doesnt look as tough as the original moto g (but with g5 being thinner and larger i dont think anyone can really expect it to be). screen is bright and visibility in sun conditions is OK. system runs smoothly with no lag, it feels reeally good. camera is good. sound quality is also good, nothing spectacular. it doesnt have a back speaker though, front speaker plays all the sounds. battery life is good, i am not a very demanding user (occasional browsing, phone calls, viber, sms, skype and very rarely a game) and the battery lasts almost 2 days on a full charge. From practically 0 - 100% takes about an hour with the provided charger, which is very good. I have not experienced the heating issues, for i fid it normal for the phone to get warm when charging or under longer heavy use. For now i am very satisfied.

Don't buy this phone. i am using since it launch. i have both model G5+ & G5.
G5 is the worst phone. No quick Charge option, lagging, being hot while charging.

Plz don't buy this phone bec. Motorola company uses "very cheap and old series" motherboard in this model.
In Moto G4 Motorola use "Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617" in 190 Euro.
In Moto G5 Motorola use "Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430" in 200 Euro.
I cant Suggest to anybody to buy this phone. Thanks
