I've been trying out a budget phone lately - the Xiaomi Redmi 3S - really like it. I see that the Moto G5 has the same display size and processor but is quite bulky by comparison. The Redmi 3S is 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 mm while the G5 is 144.3 x 73 x 9.5 mm, way too tall/long and thick. Also the width of the G5 at 73 mm is actually wider than the 5.5 inch Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (72.6 mm), believe it or not. Motorola is famous for wide bezels on the sides, top and bottom making their phones, in my opinion, quite ugly. The Redmi 3S and Moto G5 weigh about the same but the 3S has a 4100 mAh battery while the G5's is only 2800. As usual, I fail to see why Motorola is so popular. The Redmi 3S works on LTE on 4 Canadian carriers and costs only about $137 US dollars, a no-brainer purchase compared to the G5 for Canadians and others not in the US at least.

if the g4 lacked anything it was speed, I mean it was fast but if it was a tad faster it would be great, now g5 has a lower speed processor !!!! What is Lenovo (who I don't like from using their computers) doing to Moto? Nuts

Spy, 26 Feb 2017Redmi 3s is better and cheaper !That is actually very true, Redmi 3S is 5 mm smaller (which is a good thing) and the battery is 4100 mAh.

The j3 2017 meant to have snapdragon 430 from what it had befor that's a decent upgrade
But G4 snapdragon 617 to 430 🤔💩

Moto G3 was excellent than moto G4/G4plus good and moto G5/G5 plus average only it will give u nice experience but design is absolutely very bad i didn't expect that moto G5 will be like this 🤔 for me moto G5 👎👎👎

i hope this will be available immediately in uae because last time the only moto that i saw in uae is g4 plus and moto z

the reason for this is battery being used in 3G areas without proper connectivity. You should shut down your phone whenever this happens, and then restart it.

Just use S... moreBecause 430 may have lower clock speed but is based on 14 micron architecture (instead of 28)which saves around 35% power & avoids heating . Thats why 430 is preferred .
Same with SD 625 .
