I bought this mobile from year ago and till now there is no update to Oreo, Motorola Company that belongs to Lenovo Company is dishonest.

Nowadays phones are starting to use 64bit ARM instead of 32bit ARM, just google it before talking about shit you don't know, sincerely, Brian

I am not an expert but I think the reason why it takes so long for Lenovo/Motorola to update the G5 series to Oreo is because they decided to use 32bit instead of 64bit.

According motorola blog ,Android Pie will be served up this fall for moto g6 plus,moto g6,moto g6 play,moto z2,moto z3 depends on market .Not Moto G4,Moto G5,MotoE series

Can we use SD card as the storage for Moto g5 -16gb version, my phone rans out of space every time...
If you use SD card as your default storage, how much good is it? Phone is pretty smooth, I don't want to buy another now...

Does anyone else have problems with GPS after instslling July 2018 security patch? My GPS manages to locate me only as close as 15 meters. Sometimes it gets as close es 4-6 meters but very seldom. I noticed that navigation has become very imprecise after July 2018 security patch. The phone very often shows me driving through buildings or places me on the wrong street. Besides having no compass is not good for navigation. Maybe if Moto included a compass the GPS navigation would have been better. My old Moto G2 was much better and more precise regarding GPS navigation.

My wife and I have both had Moto G5s for several months and are VERY disappointed. The reception is poor and the damn thing continuously reboots. A pile of crap as far as I'm concerned and I've had cell phones going all the way back to the bulky, heavy bags.
