This night Moto offer one surprised! Security Update from 1 November 2023 after last Update Android 13; with 1 October security patch! New Os A13 maybe have included security patch monthly??!! Never happened to now Major update and new security patch very quickly!

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2023In India it seems to happen a lot.I don't know what is it ! Bad luck or In Europe Quality Control it's a more attention ! I have 3 Device G52 buy no one not have any problem with pOled display! And with new Android 13 the display looks great!

Security Patch is 1 October 2023.

My G52 it's stuck on 1 September 2023.
Not received anything not security patch and not Android 13.

Motorola G52 Received Android 13 in Brasil available from day 21 November. In Europe is not available for the moment.
Looks very nice! Hey 👋 Moto what happens? in Europe waiting the update.
Security Patch it's 1 September 2023 with Android 12. Forget about us?!!!! Push the update quickly!

Anonymous, 07 Nov 2023If no official statement, there is no evidence that Motorol... moreYeah, I know that there is no official announcement. But one can at least check whether your nearest Moto service center is offering free display replacement for green line or not.
Even I was skeptical at first whether my out of warranty green line affected device will be repaired for free or not; but the service center did for free. Again it's a matter of luck and can vary from one location to another. So first check with your nearest Moto service center.
Anyways, I already exchanged my repaired Moto G52. So no worries for me.

I buy 3 device Moto G52 and no one of this not have any problems with green line display.
The colors is Vivid the brightness it's very good and no problems with green line
In what country appears this problems with p-oled display ??

Update - Motorola is replacing green line affected screen, free of cost even for out-of-warranty devices on the terms that device does not have any physical & liquid damage. Motorola haven't announced it publicly about this yet i.e. on twitter or on their website; but service centers know about this and are offering free screen replacements.
For my Moto g52 I went to service center on 11 Oct 2023. Service center told, display might take 15-20 days to arrive. They gave me a customer info form to fill and told they will call me if display arrives. Also told for device should not have physical / liquid damage and data backup should be done at prior. After 15 days on 25 October I got call from service center that display has arrived. I went on 26th Oct. Technician there thoroughly checked my device and said free screen replacement will be given as there is no damage. Also told it will take 2-3 days (but it took some more time). I got a SMS after 8 days on 2 Nov 2023 that device is ready.
And So my green line affected Moto G52 got free display replacement.
Check now whether your nearest Moto service center is offering free display replacement for green line or not.

Please solve the problem. I had the same issue with my phone. However, when I went to the Authorized Moto Service Center in India, they told me that they could extend the warranty and fix the screen display for free. After two weeks, I got my phone back with a new screen without any extra charges.
This only worked because the green line issue was not due to physical damage. (They looked for outer damage marks and screen guard for signs of physical damage.)

I had used Moto G3 from 2015 till 2022. Custom ROM helped me.
I understand that OS remians in working for quite few years. Security patches are essential.
But I always prefer a phone where updates and security patches have been stopped. Only after that I go for unlocking and custom ROM.
I was looking for Pixel 3a.
Only this time I came across such a recent device of Moto G52 at such a low price. And then the seller told me that Moto has promised A13 but still nowhere it is seen ( I got it just before the launch of A14). He was not hopeful and also feared green lines issues. I took it as a chance and it worked for me.

Im curious :) software for Android is not as necessary as like iOS where apps stopps working within a few years of no support. While Android most new apps or games just required Android 8. Most of the time just even 5. So its all about security and thoes updates you get. Even without them you be ok, they do have the build in security also.
New software can be nice, but most of the time you get it then its like ok its all the same, you use the phone the same. Not much have happened since Android 10.
