Erik, 20 Nov 2022Tried installing Gcam?Yes, it makes a major difference. Especially low-light is on a whole new level.
But some features were bugged and it created crash log files constantly. Tried several versions.
So it's stock cam for my dad...

Got the 4GB version for under 190€ in Germany.
The performance surprised me and is 100% fine for basic tasks like browsing, youtube, navigation...
Display, bazttery life and clean UI are just awesome.
Camera is the only downside. But still usable.
A pefect device for parents who want a no nonsens / simple phone.

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2022Wait till you realise that the Snapdragon 680 is essentiall... morethat proc will give you better battery life than the older you mentioned . + that the older one is hardware limited and cant support the 90hz amoled display. i had a g30 for 1 year that impressed me a lot for the 200€ , battery is as good as new today.

Out of the box - battery health (AccuBattery) 94% (4700mAh out of 5000). 7 charges later - no change. Production date 22. april, bought 22. august. Everything else seems more than enough for the money, call quality/headphone speaker 10/10, wifi & 4g reception also good as they get. No complaints. Hopefully it will turn out to be uncalibrated app.

Is ok phone, but I doubt that it has fluid experience, without lags.
In my country this phone cost exactly the same as the Poco M4 Pro 4G variant. Even with Android 11 out of the box, the Poco M4 Pro 4G feels like a better value.

It sounds like the phone will be slow out of the box, then connect to wifi, get updates....and then reset to factory???
