Is this the one techspurt recently reviewed on YouTube? He called it the g54 5g so I can’t tell if this is the same since some 5g models are totally different like pixel 4a

The price for this is actually around $175 USD, apparently. Still, Motorola offers poor update policies for phones and this ain't an exception.

I can only assume that the phone is named differently in different regions or there is simply a mistake on the website.

omzig, 11 Oct 2023camera sensor is almost 3 times bigger on G73. the battery ... morei just look at the german moto site, and the differencies are much bigger than the specs here. it seems the specs here are for indian release. german sites states 5000mAh battery and no ultrawide camera. still, G54 is almost 1,5 times cheaper than G73, so its good for someone who don't care about camera setup.

Frank55, 10 Sep 2023Better G73 or not?camera sensor is almost 3 times bigger on G73. the battery is bigger on G54 (depends on the version). SoC is the same. OIS on G54 is mostly a gimmick since the sensor has small 0.61 µm pixels so OIS won't save lowlight performance.
if G54 Power is 17-28% cheaper than G73, i'd go for G54.

no good update policy, no way. I tend to keep phones for several years, I need at least the Samsung policy on mid/high range phones
