Motorola's glass is low grade and brittle. Even the cheapest ZTEs and Alcatels have sturdier glass. Heck, I had a Wiko fall 300+ cm and the display remained intact. People should avoid Motorola like the plague - horrible company with a useless customer service.

            Does this mobile have compass?

Why don't they specify the glass type? Probably some cheap, no name variety. My edge 30 Neo didn't survive a drop from less than 50 cm. I am never buying a Moto again.

                  Positives:
-Good display , not hdr10 but manageable, good for casual media consumtion
                  -light weight 166gm
                  -less bloatware
-stereo speakers , 3.5 mm jack
                  -Nfc available in EU model

                  Negatives:
-g99 is not the best mid range processor, there was a bit of lag sometimes with multiple heavy apps
-No 4k video recording or play back
-Camera is just fine for the price, could have been better
                  -less UI customisation options
-Top pull down notification dropdown drawer is different based on android 12 and cannot be customised
-When you have already used high end displays, this one feels like it has a yellowish tint on the display

There are some serious flaws in this phone :
                    * No NFC though they advertised ( Shame on Motorola for disabling NFC during setup)
                    * Sreen freezes & phones hands abruptly.
                    * Motorola needs improvement in its theme, it is very dull, less practical & user friendly.
                    Learn from MIUI & Samsung.
                    * Camera quality is not good , 108 ultra res is joke.
                    * Notification bar's Wifi button must be saparate with single touch operation, its Big buttons on notification pull down option are inconvenient & doesn't give space too other useful options as handy.
                    * Mobile data on off must happen on 1 touch.
                    * Button should be small preferably with small icons so that more functions could be accessed from notification bar.
                    * Dual app option must be included.
                    * More & better ringtones & wallpapers must be added.
                    * Do not disturb option should appear when press volume button.
                    * Add some more dedicated user friendly practical & functional apps.
                    * Clear all must be placed either at the place off screen shot or the should be a semi transparent cross button to close all tabs.

GSMArena, correct your information about NFC, this phone doesn't support that now ( I guess Motorola disabled it during setup)
*Shame on Motorola* , I bought this Motorola g72 due to NFC but 😡😡😡

Given the specs and competition, This is and should be a $300- phone, for anything more, it will be left behind in sales figures..

If you see side by side G72 camera, iPhone 14, Pixel 6 you'll se it is on par and sometimes better EVEN in low light sample.

Go to low light at these 3 phones and see how it shows key bus routes and Reagent Park.

                                Beats iphone 14 ANYTIME
