Sunny, 08 Oct 2022Hardware doesn't support hdr10+? why its on specs.Its the same with SD480+ & SD695 that are hardware locked on 1080 30fps both video recording & playback, so my guess is Marketing!

Regardless of how generic this phone looks, this weight with 5000mAh battery is super lightweight!
I hope the battery isn't interpolated when it gets released

They will give ota update to whitelist the divice to play hdr , but I don't believe thats gonna happen ,lol how??
How will they manage to pull that off ? With unsupported hardware . I am looking forward for the detailed review of the phone.

almost close to Redmi note 11 pro Specs.. with stock UI.. if motorola lunches with the same price (200$) i will definitely consider buying one..

Motorola making false claim that it will playback hdr10+ content , the g99 can't even play 4k videos through hw decoder,
They are saying they will add hdr support with update , which is just misguiding at its finest because they didn't added hdr support at launch,
So gsm arena I request plese spread awareness about this and also update your specifications
Checkout mediatek website there no mention of miravision or hdr support on g99.
Moto making us fool I never expected it from them .
The only g series processor which supported hdr was g95(g90t oc).
