Dear owners of G75, does it have Live Lock Screen with ads?

          With an audio jack you can simultaneously charge the phone through usb-c while at the same time listening to FM radio through wired headphones.

          You cannot do this on phones without audio jack. Sherlock.
          Stop suggesting bluetooth wireless headphones, those don't work with FM radio as they cannot act as an antenna like a pair of wired headphones can.

Having lived in China I have to say that eSIM is still a grey area. Things are changing since 2020 but the misconception of eSIMs being unable to work in China is largely due to the fact that most phones in China do not come with eSIM support. One of the main reasons for the lack of eSIM technology in Chinese smartphones is the strict regulations of the Chinese government. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) strictly regulates telecommunication services in China and has been reluctant to allow the introduction of new technologies such as eSIM China Unicom. Currently, eSIM usage in China is mainly focused on IoT (Internet of Things) devices rather than general consumer smartphones. Even apple's iPhone in china since iPhone 11 all have dual sim (two sided sim slot). China Unicom announced a data plan for the newly announced M2 and M4 iPads. These new WiFI + Cellular iPads purchased in China can be activated with eSIM service. You will find majority of the eSIM users in China are foreigners coming into China. Things are changing and eventually eSIMs will be available widely.

My sister and uncle both used esim when they traveled to mainland China. My sister also lived there for a year, and used a local handset with esim support.

The Motorola customer services agents have been advising customer that g75 handsets (which are being shipped from China to a central hub in Netherlands and then shipped to various European locations) have a hybrid tray slot meaning either SD card + 1 Nano sim or 2 Nano sims) but customers (see numerous reviews on various shopping platforms including Motorola UK) highlighting of being misinformed and are indeed receiving phones with a tray of one physical sim and one SD card with 1 eSim capability. Do not buy if you require two physical sim capability. Clearly Motorola customer care team in the UK are giving the wrong information based on a very few units that were sold in the UK early-mid October 2024 that had dual sim slots. There are two variety of g75 with one offering 1 physical sim and 1 eSim and another version supporting 2 physical sims as currently in number of countries including China eSims are not permitted. It seems majority of European g75 handsets come with only one physical sim. It is not ideal that customer services agents are oblivious to this and giving the wrong pre-sell advice to customers.
