LennartDaniels, 28 Oct 2024Get your facts straight: SD6 Gen 3 is pretty much the exact... moreExact same ,but not the same . Maybe upcoming reviews clear many things about G75 .
Also there is not any other phone on all brands in the market this moment with this Soc to compare G75 .

If other brand start use this soc version over 7 gen 2 will be as the point it's exact the same Soc, as Motorola used limited or custom edition parts in the past for cut mobile cost .

Just what I needed after still rocking my Moto g9 plus lol. Large 6.78 inch screen , LCD display , side fingerprint reader and many major updates.

LennartDaniels, 28 Oct 2024Real world performance is smooth without hick-ups or stutte... moreI see. Thanks for the clarifications.

PS: I saw your previous comments. This phone does indeed seem like a good device for the price. It still hasn't released here, but I am considering it due to the LCD display and hopefully improved signal reception compared to Exynos. Heating is not an issue for me since I won't run demanding games. And as for battery: it is enough if it lasts one full day for me. This charging speed is also of no concern for me; it is enough as is. Right now my only concern is how Motorola will support this device in the long run when it comes to updates and spare parts.

r.why.me, 28 Oct 2024Yeah. The SD 6 Gen 3 is pretty much a re-badged SD 7s Gen 2... moreYes, every modem is a battery drainer, so I'm using a huawei lte dongle to keep my phone connected to a wifi and the device is in non stop airplane mode with VoWifi enabled. Problem solved.

r.why.me, 28 Oct 2024Yeah. The SD 6 Gen 3 is pretty much a re-badged SD 7s Gen 2... moreReal world performance is smooth without hick-ups or stutters. And I came from an iPhone SE3, wich should be fast in theory, but the ios animations make it feel like a slow paced Samsung from 2012. Especially with 60hz (on a phone triple the price of this). So to everyone reading this; performance is no issue at all. It’s smooth, powerfull and future proof.

The Exynos 1380 combined with One UI on the other hand is just not as efficient as stock android with a snapdragon chip.

As for signal strenght, I have zero issues.

LennartDaniels, 28 Oct 2024Get your facts straight: SD6 Gen 3 is pretty much the exact... moreYeah. The SD 6 Gen 3 is pretty much a re-badged SD 7s Gen 2 with slightly downclocked A55 cores. Even the GPU is the same, I think (feel free to correct me on that, though). In everyday usage and even load, the performance should be the same. Any differences would be negligible. Performance differences between this and the Exynos 1380 should also be negligible in actual real world scenarios.

My only issue with the SD 6 Gen 3 is that it seems to be equipped with the older X62 modem instead of the newer X63, based on the specs sheet Qualcomm put out. The X62 has somewhat weaker signal reception capabilities than the X63 and consumes a bit more battery power when using mobile data. However, it should still be superior to Exynos modems in both areas - reception strength and power consumption. Signal reception strengths on my wife's Redmi Note 13, the Galaxy M55/F55 (despite the other severe issues with those devices), and on the Motorola Edge 50 as well as the 50 Fusion (all of which have the X62) is actually very good.

Sam, 27 Oct 2024What about night camera shot ? Good camera sensor is not ... moreThis does not appear on the G75. The Lytia 600 from Sony seems good for it’s price. Sharp details, natural colors and defined contrast. Low light is ofcourse not as with a more expensive phone, but it’s much better as with the G55 or G73.

PureOS, 27 Oct 2024I still must decide should i get this one or Iphone SE 3, n... moreI sold my SE3 for this G75. Battery on SE3 was awful. Screen is too little. Only good thing was performance, then again ios 18 is just a mess, and they know it because they offer ios 17.7 together with ios 18. I’ve used some iPhones the last years, but the software is so buggy lately.

What about night camera shot ? Good camera sensor is not enough .

Is stiil there the hight orange color tone in lights ,buldings like other Motorola g series phones suffered ? This is not natural night color.

Gcan also can't fix this bugg in night shot , as depends on hardware.

All test results depends on total application loaded ,battery use .
Sd 6 gen 3 is new version soc ,but like oc version of main sd 6 gen

Sd 7 gen 2 is not a oc soc to compare .So the smooth operation is the question for better feeling .

For that reason , in heavy use ,Sd 6 gen 3 maybe overheat or cause problem in application used over the time.

Motorola use this soc for lower cost than use Sd 7 gen 2. ..
That's not bad for G75 price ,but if not same feeling as other upscale Motorola devices in real use, take a look other motorola devices if price drop similar .Black Friday season is coming too for that.

This is on par with 7S Gen 2. It’s about 100k more as the SD6 Gen 1.
So no worries about performance at all.
