This is my father's phone and I'm actually shocked at the quality of the photos he takes. He loves taking pictures and has a $200 dedicated camera but still sometimes chooses to take pictures with this phone and it's nearly impossible to tell the difference sometimes. A good buy if you want good pictures for cheap.

This is my first Android phone as I've been an iPhone user since 2014, but I did use Android tablets when I was younger. I switched from an iPhone 12 mini to this because I wanted a change and my sister's iPhone 8 was malfunctioning. I did a lot of research deciding between a Google Pixel 6a, a Samsung or a Motorola. I ended up with this as the Google Pixel doesn't have a headphone jack or an SD card slot and Samsung has a lot of bloatware from what I read. I really like this Android phone and for $200 it was a pretty good deal. It might be a slight downgrade from my iPhone 12 mini but I don't mind it, since I got the SD and headphone jack. This phone connects better to my network than the iPhone did. It charges really slow though, up to 10W I believe for about 2h 11m, but the battery is double the iPhone 12 mini so it's kind of understandable, but 20W or more speeds would be nice. Overall a really good budget Android phone.

How does this phone compare to a Samsung A32 5G (came out circa 2017, I believe)? I am being offered one as a trade-in but am concerned that it may be a step down. It is certainly only one-sixth the price of the phone I was considering buying out-of-pocket, which suggests (but does not guarantee) inferiority. I am concerned with speed, compatibility of MicroSD card, and camera features -- but I am terrible at assessing anything from just a spec sheet, as they never go into enough detail. All I know is that every phone I get, has fewer-and-worse features than the one I had before, because other people don't value the features I value.

Stream your favorite shows, download music, and video chat instantly without any lag. Take stunning pictures, portraits, and close-ups thanks to Quad Pixel technology. The 50MP sensor gives you remarkably clear results in any light, and the Macro Vision and depth sensor helps you take professional-looking portraits or see the tiny details you’d otherwise miss. Bring games, movies, and video chats to life on a smooth, ultra-wide screen.

Got one from Boost for $10 shipped, plus cost of 1 month service, and couple bux to unlock it. This gives me an ultra-cheap backup device, without the worry that a used phone will be a total dud. Tell me what a terrible buy this is under those circumstances. LoL

The chipset model is on the lower quality.

NathanCE, 24 Apr 2022I doubt anyone would buy this straight from Motorola unlock... moreCheckmate. I paid it for $200 on sale for 256GB of storage unlocked. A really big steal if you ask me.

Got this phone free from T-Mobile with a junk phone trade-in. It was some old ZTE with a cracked screen and wouldn't take a charge. Pretty hard to beat at that price, NFC or not. I did have to shell out $35 for a SIM/upgrade fee but still worth it. It's a lot better than the iPhone 8 I was using on that line.

Purchase phone at Best Buy and paid $245 with discount and e- rewards credit. I do not use it for games. I primarily use it for Stock Market trading. I use it with Google Maps and it connects and works flawlessly. I can't imagine paying more for a phone that will be used for three or four years. ($82.00 0r $61.00) per year. I listen to music with my J lab air pop earbuds and sounds great. I occasionally watch some YouTube and it always appears vivid with no problems. Phone and texting work as expected, problem-free. I take occasional pictures and while you will see better quality on a higher price phone you will still be satisfied with the pictures on this phone. 6g ram 256/storage. Still need an Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max. The retail price is $1100 or $30.55/mo. for 36 months! Think of what the value of that phone will be in 36 months but you are still paying a level payment from your first payment. ( $367 per year for 3 years or $275 for 4 years.) Enjoy your new phone whichever you choose. Research first!!

This is to take advantage of people stuck in the 5g upgrade or something. Figures motorola would do that bc the customer service shares an office with scam artists in Delhi.
