I've heard a lot of comments about this phone, some good some bad. But after being stuck with The BLU B131DL this one has to be Much better cause the BLU is Garbage First Class. They should BAN the BLU Models altogether. Will see how this Motorola works out when it gets here, Fingers Crossed.

If they would've added 8 Gb ram total, which would've cost them only a cheap 2 cents per gigabyte of additional ram,
Well then folks, this could've easily been the PHONE OF THE CENTURY!!!
Too Bad. Now it's just another raspberry pi competitor.
I'm sure it's great if you root it and hack it and use it as a raspberry pi.
If I can buy it $50 I'll use it as a raspberry pi alternative for sure.

For those dealing with the onboard bloat that won't go away because of the weirdly installed security on this particular handset, download Canta and Shizuku. Canta let's you uninstall bloatware without root. (Shizuku is required to get canta working).
Just turn on wireless debugging in developer options, run Shizuku, run Canta and start uninstalling bloatware. Simple as that.

This phone isn't worth 25 cents It freezes up so much I decided to count how many times in a 8 hr after 4 hours 22 times I stopped counting . What good is a phone even for under 200$ if it doesn't have the power to work . Lenov why dont you sell the Motorola brand .All your doing is making a couple of descent mid range phones and the rest are garbage

My last phone was a Motorola Moto g Pure and I only used mobile data. No issues ever. Got this 5g phone now and it's slow as Xmas and I have lots of issues with it. It was messed up right out of the package. Still love Motorola more than any other phone.

I like it. Custom roms make it shine. 4GB RAM is adequate, CPU is adequate. Screen is meh, bump it to 1080 and keep it IPS and it'd be cool. This isn't a top spec gamer phone, it's a budget device.
would be cool if they just took the holepunch out and added bezel up top for the cam and reduced bottom bezel. a notchless phone with sd and 3.5 would be killer

How to create a bestselling phone - for Motorola beginners over at Lenovo headquarters :
add a new 4 nanometer chipset from 2024 or 2023. 4G or 5G I don't care as long as you add the SIM tray slot lol.
add at least 8 GB - 12 GB RAM. A good modern decent amount of memory is 8 GB - 24 GB RAM
Keep the IPS LCD display that's crystal clear and has a whopping 180° viewing angle! And no OLED PWM flickering. That's the best part about this phone, the screen!
That's it. This phone has everything except the necessary RAM to function properly...
Ok you can add another high resolution camera and macro and telephoto sensor or something.
It even has FM radio, audio jack and sd card slot WOW!
They somehow forgot to add somewhere around 4 GB - 8 GB of RAM to each phone...
Voila you've got yourself a winner! Congrats!

This is, by far, the worst phone I have ever had. I've used the OnePlus 6T, the iPhone 11, the Galaxy A34, and the Galaxy A15, and somehow all of them were infinitely better than this. First, I'll bring up the less fundamental things for a phone, and then the absolute necessities that this phone either doesn't have, or has in the worst way possible.
1. Camera. The camera quality is abysmal even for a budget phone. The camera bump is, admittedly much better than most phones in the last 5 years, and most budget phones don't let you use RAW, but this does.
2. Screen. The screen resolution seems to be good, decent enough that I can draw art using the phone, however an LCD panel in 2024 is rediculous. None of my other phones had LCD, only OLED, yet this one does. (The A15 was about the same price, and has much better specs.)
3. Sound. Not many problems on this regard, the speakers are good quality, and the phone comes with the Dolby Atmos app to adjust your EQ and other sound settings.
4. Battery. (Now for the bad stuff) The battery seems to be either wonderful, or awful, and I can never tell which. On one hand, it can last almost a full day with light use. On the other hand, it doesn't even last 5 hours with 50% battery and no use at all. I have missed many events because of this.
5. Internals. All I have to say about the RAM is there's so little, that the phone has a seperate setting to allocate storage space to RAM. The phone is still incredibly slow with it on. The CPU and GPU are decent for a budget phone, but nothing too crazy.
Conclusion: they cut so many corners on this phone that any budget phone from 2010 would be infinitely better. Don't waste your money. Get a Galaxy A15 or something.
