nevermind, seems like they fixed it now and it will be 8 GB single sim =) not a big deal, since it is only ~25$ more expensive than model without LTE with smaller battery

So it seems like we have two different versions of Moto G 2nd Gen LTE. One is 16 GB dual sim and the other is 8 GB single sim. By the way, in my country (Poland) there is an online preorder, in a reputable store, and the specs are listed as 16 GB + dual sim, so it may be dependent on a country you live in or importer/distributor (Poland is in Europe as well, if you don't know :D)

The Moto G 2015 4G is still not available. When you go to buy it you find that you are placing a pre-order with an estimated delivery date. The T&C on Motorola's website describe the contract with a Google company but I think they are now Lenovo. I think I'll wait until it is in the shops. At least I'll be able to return it if it isn't what it described as...

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2015I wonder what about internal storage... Is it gonna be 16gb... moreThe UK and French models are 8GB Single SIM devices.
In Brazil and China they get the 4G 16GB Dual SIM models, but when they finally decide to release the European models not only do we not get the Dual SIM feature, we get half the storage space on top of that.

"Thank you for contacting Motorola and for interest in our new device."
"We would like to inform you that the MotoG 2nd generation LTE has one SIM slot."

Kos, 12 Mar 2015I don't understand why it has the same SoC Snapdragon 400 a... moreActually I always thought that the chipsets should be used as follows.
Moto E Snapdragon 410
Moto G Snapdragon 610
Moto X Snapdragon 810
The point being Cheap phones get 400 series, medium priced phones get 600 series and higher end phones get 800 series.
That would be a good, sensible way to cater for everyone, and all markets.
Maybe the 3rd Generation models will be designed as such.

Motorola website says "Ships with lollipop" and in the spec says kitkat 4.4.4. They can't seem to make up their mind?

Motorola's Site is still listing this as 8GB storage, but with ** next to it for a footnote?
Possibly other specs are wrong and this may come with a 410 rather than a 400?

I don't understand why it has the same SoC Snapdragon 400 as the original Moto G.
It should have at least Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 - the cheaper version Moto E 2nd gen already has this newer SoC on 64 bit. I really don't understand Motorola with this move...
