Motorola Moto G 5G Plus in for review

Earlier this month Motorola announced the Moto G 5G Plus, which is the first 5G smartphone in the company's Moto G lineup. The Moto G 5G Plus is currently available for purchase in Europe and we've received a unit at our office for review. But before we bring you a detailed analysis of the Moto G 5G Plus, let's take a quick look at what the smartphone has to offer.

The Moto G 5G Plus comes in a single Surfing Blue color and its retail box includes the usual paperwork along with a protective case, USB-C cable, and a 20W TurboPower charger.

The Moto G 5G Plus is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC, boots Android 10, and has two memory options - 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. The smartphone also comes with a microSD card slot that allows storage expansion by up to 1TB.

The Snapdragon 765G-powered smartphone is built around a 6.7" FullHD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and two punch holes in the upper-left corner for the 16MP wide and 8MP ultrawide units.

The back of the Moto G 5G Plus houses a quad camera setup arranged in a square formation. It's a combination of 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide (118° FOV), 5MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor units.

The back panel also includes the Motorola logo, but unlike some older models, this one doesn't have a fingerprint reader embedded - that's on the right side of the phone since Motorola decided to embed it with the power button. And if you look on the left side of the phone, you'll find the SIM and microSD card slot accompanied by a dedicated Google Assistant button.

Keeping this entire package up and running is a 5,000 mAh battery, which charges through a USB-C port at up to 20W. Other highlights of the Moto G 5G Plus include Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

OS maybe is a problem. IOS (iPhone) is better. But, this Motorola phone is good.
