Hey am from India and I own the Moto G 16GB Dual sim version. I've been using it for a week. The phone was fully updated in software when I received. All features are working as expected. There is no network/camera/OTG issues. So don't worry. Display is great and gaming capability is excellent. OTG is working fine, no need for third party apps to run OTG USB. I would personally suggest to go for this to get the best performance. Also buy the 16GB version.

OTG cable not support...... please give me suggestion..... same time its connect but afte 1 min automatically disconnect... please give same useful ways...

Anona, 24 Apr 2014I hear battery life sucks true??? maybe lies its good.it depends on your usage.. Though the battery is a 2070mah it may still provide enough power to last a whole day.... if u do hardcore gaming + internet +music then the battery wont last that long

As I’ve got to know that Moto G does not have external memory card slot. If this is a case how can I transfer all the contacts from the existing phone to Moto G?
Also I’ve learnt that there is no USB port cable being provided in the box; apart from this the other phone’s (Samsung or LG) USB cable will not be able to recognise by PC or Moto G is also correct?

AnonD-98352, 21 Apr 2014hi friends, i am using moto G for past 13 days. since i had... moreI also facing this problem frequently,when i contacted motorola cus.care they told battery calibration has to be done & they mailed steps to do it.After following that also i facing this problem.1.Turn your phone on and charge it for 8 hours or more.
2.Unplug the charger.
3.Turn your phone off and charge it for one hour.
4.Unplug the charger.
5.Turn on the phone and wait 2 minutes.
6.Turn your phone off and charge it for one hour.
7.Unplug, turn it on and use as normal. Your battery life should now be a lot better.
Some times all application names changes to small square box,Network issue is big problem.

When ... morein that case swith of data plan of both sims and talk because moto g is not dual sim dual active phone .So some of that apps continously updating while u are on call and conflict will happen in softwares and call drops

Those who are facing battery problems after kitkat update do wipe from recovery factory reset option from settings menu wont wipe the battery stats.
So wipe from recovery menu and then charge your phone to full and then let it drain below 15% then again charge full. your battery with moderate usage ( wifi /2g and some calls) would last around 2 days.
Use app like battery guru from snapdragon and gsam battery stats to know the battery status and its drain details

the worst phone I've ever used ... I sold it for 9k after 20 days of usage . although perfomence was pretty okey but there is serious network issue with sim card slot 1 ...and after sale service of Motorola is very poor in india

Using moto G from past 3Months waste mobile, Camera doesn't working ferquently getting Error response "Camera error". IF i restart the hanset and try then it's work fine. I bought this mobile for the Brand name Moto,Much disappointed with this hanset.
Don't go for it.
