Got this phone in October last year, absolutely awful now, was good at first, but after a few months it became really slow, the battery is awful now, apps randomly crash, camera doesn't open, phone overheats and decides to reboot, takes much longer to charge, definitely not a long term investment, would only recommend any moto g as a temporary phone to get you through a couple of months, also the 8gb storage may not seem like much of a problem, but there's only 5.51 gb of storage that you can actually use, and even at that theres a minimum of about 400mb required available on the phone before it starts giving you an error message, I find myself cleaning my phone out every other day because of this.
Can't wait for the Moto X Style to be released in September.

for last 10 months i am using this phone....only problem i had is worst battery..
it lasts only half of my day with moderate usage... i had to repeatedly charge it...
and after 5 to 6 months..it began to hang and lag behind...
today suddenly it stop working and made me totally helpless..
so my verdict is if u r novice and want some basic smartphone..go for it
if u r a heavy user like me...just avoid it,,good things never come cheap...

It's a fixture, you can't even replace it.

I got this phone in October. Pre Lollipop update the phone used to work fine but post that facing the below issues
1.Very Slow
2.Hangs
3.Over Heating
4.Battery Issues

i have purchased my Moto g 2nd gen from US. Now i am using it in Mongolia. I needed a dual sim phone since i got into a new job. So decided to give it a try to Moto g 2nd gen dual sim. It is awesome. Im using my cellphone over 1 year. It still working smooth and nice. There is only one problem, here in Mongolia, there is no case, no screen protections at all.. I got it from ebay.com and it doesn't include any cases or additional backflip, nor the screen protections. Otherwise, this is the best phone for my android experience. Sorry about poor English, greetings from Mongolia. Thanks

My Moto G 2nd gen was supposed to have dual SIM capability but the 2nd SIM slot is blocked by plastic. Anyone know why?

It is a good configuration mobile.but,I face a problem,all calls disconnect in few minutes automatically why? in set up , by mistake I touched ""touch mode off"" now, my phone screen display not responding to touch,I can get only incoming calls with a female voice telling the incoming number and could not use screen touch to dial.I don't know how to reopen my screen touch mode and use my phone. this is 100% touch mode phone why this type of ""touch mode off"" system is in this phone.battery drainage is also faster.

To improve call quality, you will have to set 3G as prefered network, no problem then.

I have been using this phone for past 7 months, can not fault it. Good call quality, good screen. Standby battery is great, just goes 5% down from morning to afternoon. Runs smooth on lollipop. Phone has never restarted itself.

Worrest mobile what I have seen mobiles there is no call clarity fully breakages in voice and when I was calling to anyone first was my was not heared to other side persons I was cut my call and again i called same number its works but everyone told me your voice was not clearand another problem was after charge the mobile are play the game calls option not worked even not touched the call button what a worrest mobile it is I was send it back to Flipkart I never recommend this
