Hope you haven't heard anything about "SOAK TEST" process which was implemented just to check the reliability of Android L..
All the videos which you saw were from other countries whereas in India there is no official update as of now.. And the official release is getting released soon..

Yesterday after I got notification on my MOTO G 2nd Gen for Android Update; the updation to Android Lollypop was done.
But After the updation, My Corporate Airtel - Internet is not working at all. Though the Mobile Data is ON in settings the Chrome Page shows Error - "Internet Disconnected" and Mobile Data Off though the Mobile Data is ON in Settings.

Friends for those who expect L update for your mobile, dont lose heart guys.. The update is on testing.. And everything's for the better..
The following conversation with moto cust. exec. explains everything.. Peace..
"*******: Officially The update has not been released for Moto G2. As of now we do not have the information regarding the official update.
*******: Unfortunately it is very difficult to predict an exact date of when a software update will be ready. Motorola in India is currently testing to ensure the Android L software update is bug free and that it is compatible with current apps in the marketplace.
*******: Presently our Android developers are working with Android L on Motorola phones of India, as the test completes will be happy to announce the release date to our valuable customers."

I just replaced my 3+y.o. Samsung Galaxy S2 with this marvel of engineering last week. It's truly awesome phone. I had SGS2 flashed with Kitkat4.4.4 and batteries were always hot in 10min. This MotoG2 has huge battery's always cold. The speed of functions is very good, very happy. Sold in Costco in Australia under $250.

Awesome phone in this price tag....using this phone from more than 4months and it never made me feel worse....its a awsum phone for multitasking,gaming ,video n audio

Does anybody see dotted lines all over the screen in sunlight in moto g 2014, also it can be seen at an angle if screen is off.Is this a faulty set or everyone can see this, should I ask for a replacement.

Amazing value, compare to the Nexus 5 which is twice the price. Outstanding screen and Nexus 6 styling, add to that dual sim capability and this is a winner. Far outshines other phones in the same price bracket and looks great. Using one myself after an iPhone 5S and loving the big screen. This phone will get upgraded to Android 5 (Lollipop) once Google release the code to Motorola and they do their tweaks and testing, so be patient, it is coming, Motorola have announced it as being official.

rakesh007, 04 Jan 2015Moto G 2nd gen comes with 1 GB RAM. Is it a disadvantage? Yes it is smoothly work with 1gb ram. I am playing asphalt 8 airborne without any problem.
