Battery capacity also to be increased as screen size has been increased.
Applications like File Manager, Torch,News Hunt,To-do,Dictionary etc if provided by default, would have added icing to the cake.
Camera hangs many a times and one needs to restart.

AnonD-124169, 22 Sep 2014how much time is it taking to fully charge the phone? mine ... moreEven my moto G(2nd gen) hardly takes 3-4hrs for full charge and wont last for even a full day upon average usage of surfing net through wifi and very few phone calls, except this battery back-up issue everything seems to be fine. But this is the major drawback for this model.

                Have a couple of questions.
Dual Sim phones use more battery or not?
Could Moto G (1st) be faster, since it has smaller screen, 1 SIM, no Stereo speakers, and no SD card?
Does this model support USB on the go (OTG)?
Last, is this phone better than LG G2 Mini?
                Thank you

Moto G 2nd gen is a good phone. But it has some problems as I am facing it. When it is connected to USB in switch off condition, the mobile gets turn on automatically. Performance is very good. But not satisfied with battery backup. I was watching a movie for 2 hrs in full brightness condition, the battery drained to 50%. Really disappoint on flipkart as they dont provide a mid range flip covers as available for moto g 1st gen...

This handset (MotoG-2Gen) has a frequently Hang problem, while taking snap from back camera the flash light remains on always even after powered off the device. This is one of the big concern because after spending a huge amount of 13k people could not expect such kind of product.

A question regarding the dual sim slots:
Is it possible to receive calls on sim 1 if sim 2 is being used for voice calls? As in if data and voice calling is activated on sim 1, is it possible to receive incoming calls on the other sim?
                                    Thanks in advance!

                                      Hi
Bought this phone after being a user of Sony Xperia C ( still works, passed it on to a family member ).

Moto G display is superior, fonts clearer, color brighter
Phootgraphs look good and in general feels more elegant
Original Android version so no upgrade issues later

Cons: ( Compared to Sony Xperia C )
Battery life is a disappointment. Xperia C lasts 2 full days with about 5 hours of calls and one hour of active browsing, mail checking and the occasional game. Moto G lasts may be a day.

Speaker & Clarity is superior in Sony ( But then they are know for it, so was not unduly upset about MOTO G on that count)

The phone heats up if the battery is low or if the conversation is long. This is definitely scary. I had kind of keep it away from my ear to avoid the heat.

Dont get me wrong, it is still a good phone and operates very smoothly and has a lot of space for my music ( I also have an additional SD card 32 GB ) and no complaints with the performance.

Sony on the other hand had some software glitches especially with bluetooth and the occasional freeze.
