How I wish I knew Motorola was coming out with this phone before getting my Oneplus 11, ughh this phone is everything I would have needed and most important - two day battery life....

I've had a One 5G Ace for 2 yrs now, the battery is getting close to nonexistent, and I think I'm going to get the G Stylus 2023, as it's one of T-Mobile's available Motos (the only brand I'll buy!). Actually I didn't like the size of the One Ace, but it had the requisite amount of RAM, so I didn't let the size worry me. But the Stylus is closer to the first Moto I had, which I really liked, I think it was the Z Play, back before 5G.

The 4 nm MIDRANGE chipset has a low tdp of 5W and a 99% stability in 3DMark (credit nanoreview.com). It performs as good (more efficiently) as the Snapdragon 855, a *FLAGSHIP* chipset from Dec 2018. In this case, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 gets a lot of undeserved aversion. I have a 5G Ace with an 8 nm 750G fabbed by Samsung. It's decent, but average performance has worsened by 10-20% for me (it sometimes pauses in daily tasks and can even get as slow and hot as a Unisoc T606). This G Stylus is a notably fresh upgrade over that, don't you think? And that's with a 6 Gen 1.

Time to see when the S6 Gen 2 might be released, since the 4 Gen 2 is already on works.

Why is... moreMotorola doesn't put 7+ Generation 2, because they have different markets and different needs. The 6 Gen 1 is a Snapdragon 6 series chipset that is a marketable upgrade over the overused 695. Trying to answer your second, loaded question's difficult. For example, the HTC U23 Pro has micro SD card, decent processor (Snapdragon 7 Gen 1), headphone jack, a clean UI, and an affordable price (500€).

Why not put 7+ gen 2, even if it cost a little more? Why is it impossible for us to get microSD card, decent processor, headphone jack and clean UI for an affordable price? Xperia is too expensive

I can only comment on the US market, but for those bemoaning the current price of the phone, i've already seen the unlocked 5G version on sale for $199. It'll probably be bundled with carrier offers for even less, the price will not remain this high. For $200-$225 new the phone represents a good value especially with the chipset and gpu refresh. Eventually you'll see eBay flooded with refurbs and open boxes for $125-$175.

Yes i'm referring to the 2023 5G version.

Continuing, the 7+ Gen 2 would have driven up the cost too much. I hope the charger comes with this 5G version, but I doubt it. Motorola is jumping on the me too bandwagon, probably using the excuse of helping the environment to make more money at our expense. Though I doubt they will get away with that overseas. I'm in the US. I personally am not paying full price for any phone that does not come with a charger.
