Leave that alone that the Dolby Atmos isn't the corrupt one. Just use Dolby Atmos and leave it at smart audio because that outputs the best audio volume. Anyway idk why you soo into the problem of Dolby not working in stylus 2024. This happens in so many devices that it ain't an issue. I don't see an issue here nor it bothers me or some. You probably just looking 1000 of ways to complain.

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2024I already posted this to moto agents and said the audio is ... moreI expect you won't see this, but the audio on this device is messed up because of the dolby atmos app. The app has some realy bad options turned on by default. in the settings of dolby atmos choose "custom" at the bottom, hit edit and turn off "volume leveler", turn off "surround virtualizer", and make choose "manual equalizer" and either do not touch the equalizer or boost frequencies to your liking.
This mostly fixes both the speakers and 3.5mm headphone jack sounds.
I cannot believe this is an issue with built 3.5mm headphone jacks, but the audio quality is lacking on headphones at low volumes. There is some static. So clearly the amps or dac in this phone just aren't better than what you get in a usb c adapter :/

Ak9, 01 Nov 2024Yes, you can unlock them later depending on the carrier pol... moreNo need to root anymore. Because Carrier bloatware apps are uninstallable. There's an app that installs in the background and that app shoots a command to installs apps, games etc. Those apps are not stitched to the os in other words. So 99 percent of those bloatware are able to be uninstalled.

But Lucky those apps being installed automatically all can be uninstalled. Not like back in the days when those apps was pre installed by the carrier and only option was to disable them.

The other thing about locked version even unlocked, some of the bloatware especially the carrier ones cannot be uninstalled unless you rooted the phone.
The other big difference is this is the first Moto G series phone in the US has a 120hz p-oled screen with a peak brightness of almost 1500 nits. The 2024 g power has a regular IPS LCD screen and the brightness of like 500 nits. It is like night and day especially outdoor on a sunny day.

I don't buy unlocked phones because its easy for me to unlock them in 6 minth or 2 months period. And ill save $$$ doing that. I can agree that this phone is snappy and camera is great. AND noticed that stylus 2024 has more features than moto g power 2024 in ui although both are running android 14 but stylus 2024 feels more premium

The ones l got are unlocked US version with 8gb of ram 256gb of storage. It is snappy and I am happy with it. I think the carrier locked version has lesser storage maybe ram as well. I always buy the unlocked version so I can use it when I travel overseas and Motorola phones pretty much cover every single frequency and band. I bought one for myself and one for my wife back in August for $314.99 plus 10% sales tax each and now it dropped to $249.99. I don't think there is anything at this price range has a better value.

Lol, 29 Oct 2024😂😂😂 6gb is good it should be the main ram option for budget... moreI can confirm. 4gb is shyte, start opening a few tabs and over. Kill app yourself or reboot.
6gb should be fine for some years. Maybe not for some specific apps, like gaming ? Idk. But internet social messaging, all will work as a breeze with 6gb

I decided to pick one up at my local store. And honestly I'm very impressed and volume is great not sure why SOME say it's terrible. I can tell you here in the US it's working great. Speed is also great. Volume sounds clean and high. Maybe they got a dud. I switched from iPhone 12 to this and battery is better IMO.
