I liked the phone very much, however, I had to return it because it does not support the square reader. It will not recognize the reader at all. I had to go back to the I phone.Square told me to stay with Apple, it works perfect with the Square.

A normal person just looks at the number of cores / clock speed / x GB ram etc..
While performance of this phone is much better because of the distributed chip architecture on its system board.
Moto x has 3 distinct processing units. 1 of them is the Central Processing Unit. So combined performance of the system, with software optimization becomes equivalent to some decent quad core processor...

hold on....it's getting even worse...some people reporting side buttons not functioning....So, let's see what we have so far: Made in USA (Texas) Maybe this is the problem. They make the phone the way they build the cars. Big, bad plastic, big engines but not too much horse power. Some things not working, but that's ok. It's made in USA.Well, in this point, I want it made in China. The phone is beautiful, but put together? You can see where the front and back meet, sometimes the plastic (polycarbonate) it hasn't been correctly polished and it's not even. Some people report the sim car tray not being aligned.
The list it's bigger, bigger than the phone....

When are Motorola going to make a hybrid phone with keyboard and large touchscreen. With a 'Call Answer' button.
These things are designed for children on facebook and YouTube. I want a phone for making calls.

I went to see one today, so can figure it out which color combination to chose and when took in hand and slightly press on the bottom back part it was making a weird noise. it felt like there is nothing rift behind the backplate and when pressed, you could hear how to back sticks to a glue and then the noise of the back releasing from the glue grip.To be more specific, put a plastic spoon on a scotch tape and then release it...that's the noise...I couldn't believe it...They went in the back and brought me another one, white this time...same thing...Honestly?It may Samsung be made of plastic, but haven't encounter something like this on the GS2 or 3...
You guys try and let me know of yours does the same...
Such a shame ...the phone is really beautiful and sits so well in the hand...

Google should have given MotoX a micro sd card option. And screen size should be 5 inches to be optimum.Battery should be atleast 2600 mAh.Not having a quad core is actually a plus point for this phone because more cores will consume battery life and at present there are very few apps in android that require quad core. Also 2GB RAM is ideal as internet itself is expanding every day and apps will run smoother with more RAM.
