Motorola Moto X

Moto X is not good as per current trend, only looks and some android feature cannot make it good, I was waiting this device since Feb 2013. I am using Samsung Nexus, I was expecting lot from my 2011 Nexus. Google just disappointed.
What can I do?
Now, I will buy S4 or Check Note3 on Sept 4(If it wont more than in size of Note2.)

I don't get it.Some guy said Moto X does better in 6 benchmark tests out of 9 whereas according to gsmarena benchmark tests Moto X is clearly behind the SGS4 or the One.
Anyway,I won't go for a phone which charges more and offers less (like dual core cpu,no full hd screen,no xclusive feature like ip57 certified,1080p video recording only,no micro sd slot or 64gb version etc etc).Google talks about freedom when it comes to android os but they restricts it's full potential by limiting their devices which will run in their os.Nice job Google.If they bring more customizable options to Nexus 5,which i believe they should do,I will go for it.Otherwise I won't choose a device which restricts me.

I think they haven't resolved the battery issue.

I don't clutter up my current cellphone Droid Razr with videos and other claptrap. Weighing The Moto X against the Samsung Galaxy note ll. 4.7 screen might be big enough.

Too expensive for a dual core....guys chk xolo q1000s...its almost half the price but better looks and specs

Still HTC one is best phone in the world. Moto x is second... gs 4 is just benchmark boosting machine

And the IPHONE is all over the map from young to old. and for sd card it's google you can get 65GB FREE storage which is 60GB more than the Icloud. really should look at the facts before commenting about something you do not seem to know anything about.

As Moto fan as you are I was very disappointed of Moto service internationally but we know why we love Moto devices although no good service. This is a forum and people need to know and learn about the product.

I have been using Moto phone for long time. Suddenly Moto pulled out from Asia market. No service. No update of Moto Razr . We already bought the phone so it become a outdated phone.
Now Moto X sale only in only US Canada. And South America. Even after Moto come up with international version. I am sure that I will give money to moto without after sell sevice again. Technology will have to support with after sale sevice. I do not like Samsung phone but have to buy Samsung becuase service is very good.

To be successful international version of this phone needs sd card and better battery otherwise samsung and apple will kill motorola this phone will be ok for old people who dont store any music or videos just some photos of their grandkids and put there phone on charger about 7pm bedtime

I'm sure many do not understand the Moto X8 chipset power yet and performance that it's bringing in the Moto X compare to the GS4 or the HTC One but we will still post some example to help Moto's fans to understand the tricks.
I got this informations from a very nice review and willing to share it with you.
Performance and X8 Mobile ComputingSystem
The Moto X doesn't have the most cutting-edge processoraround, with a 1.7-GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU augmented by a quad-core Adreno 320GPU. Other flagship phones, such as the Galaxy S4, offerquad-coreCPUs. However, Motorola's unique X8 Mobile Computing System adds other processorsto the mix, includingone dedicated to natural language and the other to contextual computing.
In everyday use, the Moto X was positively blazing, allows us to switch between apps and exit back to the home screen inthe blink of an eye. Unlike the S4, there's no lag here. The camera opened from the home screenand was ready to fire in 1.4 seconds, which is faster than the S4's 2.2 seconds. The Moto X also beat the S4 in opening the "Minion Rush" game (18.2 seconds vs. 22 seconds). The Moto X deftly handled "Riptide GP 2," delivering swift frame rates and detailed animations.
To test the Moto X further, we transcodeda 203 MB 1080pvideo to 480p using the VidTrim app. The handset took 6 minutes and 59 seconds, compared to 7:27 for the S4. That's nearly 30 seconds faster. The HTC One took 7:34.
On synthetic benchmarks, the Moto X delivered mixed results. For example, on Quadrant (which measures CPU, graphicsand I/O), the Moto X Notched 8,946, compared with 11,962 for the S4 and 12,706 for the One. On 3DMark Ice Storm (graphics benchmark), the Moto X scored 11,568, which is higher than both the S4 (10,371) and the One (9,231).
