I bought a 1st generation Motorola Moto X a week ago (Nov 2017) and have been giving it a thorough (every day user) testing since. Prior to buying it the read reviews online were largely positive with only 1 or 2 people critical about it's performance. I feel that I'm unable to fault it and it has more than lived up to my expectations. Yes for the techgeeks among us, it doesn't have the most powerful processors, 1080p display, 15MP+ camera or the latest android OS. However for everyday use none of this really matters. For a reasonable price new (about £100 - £120 in 2017). It delivers all that your average everyday user will need + more. Battery life is very good, the screen in my opinion is excellent, the camera is very good with easy and useful functionality and 2GB of ram is plenty. The best thing in my opinion is how ergonomically designed it is. It sits very comfortably in the average size hand, especially with its smoothed edges and the 4.7" screen feels bigger than it really is covering almost all of the phone. All making 1 hand use much easier than with the 5" or 5.5" screens. I can't vouch for other phones of similar spec such as Samsung's, LG's etc. But for the price I think this one's tough to beat.

Hello! I have a Moto X since the fall of 2014 and still works quite well. I would like to change the battery if possible, has anyone did this so far(in a shop of course not by myself)? I am also facing some issues from time to time with the usb port for charging and the phone seems that developed a special relation only with a usb cable (I don't even know if is the original one). Has anyone experienced something similar? Thank you!
