just confirmed from MOTO , android 9 is not yet released for moto x4
it is released for moto one power (as it is android one model)
such a lame excuse..moto x4 is 2017 model, ideally it should have been updated earlier
they have not even confirmed when will android 9 be released for moto x4 (this year ,next year.. no idea)

Don't get me wrong, I really like my X4 but it's not a top of the line phone like from Samsung or Google.
Moto is big in India and other countries and those markets don't do well with thousand dollar phones.

I hope motorola make successor of moto x4 with snapdragon 710 at least, amoled screen, slightly bigger battery, with front or side fps. I love x series better than Z's

The only thing that is not good is its camera, the Moto Camera is pretty bad, but the rest is a very good phone.
