George, 29 Nov 2017Hello all, which is better phone Samsung A5(2017) or Moto ... morepretty close devices. Idk, for me Moto x4 have better design. 4gb vs 3gb ram. Moto x4 will take Oreo update. Isk about A5. Better soc on Moto x4, at least more points on antutu. A5 have better screen for me. I was on same way like you and choose Moto. Happy with my choise.

2 years old cheap Redmi note 3 with adreno 510 and cortex a72 is a lot more powerful and better than your 23k moto x4 which lacks cortex a72 with adreno 508 only that will definitely suck in 3D gaming.

Very bad shutter speed. I mean very slow. Moto must fix this. Something wrong with the camera software.

I have bough both X4 and G5S Plus phones about 10 days back for my dad and mom respectively.
Stand alone Moto G5S Plus is a great device. But, when you put X4 and G5S plus, the looks alone kills the G5S Plus. On top of the looks, you get better processor, IP68 certified protection, better screen (compared with G5S Plus side by side), better front camera, etc.
I would definitely recommend X4 over G5S Plus.
I was little skeptical about Sterling Blue color, but after receiving it I would say "Oh! man! It's just beautiful".
I've bought clear cases for both the phones.
I never like opaque or colored cases.
