Was able to get a build of Android 10 for this phone and it is like a whole new phone. Just awesome. These phones are not built for games. Game on a computer and stop wasting your time on a 6 year old phone to try to game on. It is a phone, so use it as a phone. With Android 10 on this phone, I will be keeping it for many more years to come. Just an awesome phone.

The protective cover must have holes...

My Moto X will turn 4 in May 2019. It's a good phone except for one problem. I had internal speaker problems from time to time. These got more frequent as the phone gets older. Now, I can' use the internal speaker at all. I either have to use headset or put the call on speaker, which is very uncomfortable for me while in public. It's a really nice phone. But, the sound problem was a persistent pain in the neck.

My moto x 2nd gen fell down on it's screen once but it did not get any crack. but now it won't charge or at least the screen won't show a thing. I'm now stranded

For the price that I will pay for the repair, here in Brazil I do not buy anything from his resources.

Just saw that there is someone developing Mokee 81 (Android 8.1) for this device, after analyzing development recent history I think one owning one of there Moto X should go Mokee.

Have had this phone since launch day.I'm not someone that needs storage,so 32Gb is perfect.This phone only lacks in the ram area,where many modern apps require more than 3gb of ram and the short battery lifespan,i have had to replace it twice since getting it.

I like this phone more but the big problem it's not upgrading to 6.0 and the present problem is that it becomes hang then restarts.

I've had the moto x 2nd gen for way over 2 years. The battery started to go bad so had a new battery put in. Really like the phone only wish it had extended memory. That is the biggest fault about this phone for me.
