The lastest moto e has the same battery backup even it it 4.3 inch display with lower pixel quality. For this device the battery back up is very very poor though it has powerfull processor, high pixel density wit wide display. Its really better to buy unbranded phones like honor 4x, lenovo a7000 and in focus m330 because those phones are available at low cost with higher most specs such as octa core, 3000 mah battery, 13 and 5 mp camera and 2 GB ram. I have handled honor, lenovo and infocus all having solid battery back up and superb fast performance. Comparing moto x to those phones it should be priced for 8 to 10k.

This is how Motorola deceives its customers: Moto X was advertised as with 32gb of memory. Actual phone that I received had 24.78gb or 25% less.
This is for Moto X Pure Edition, purchased on 5/5/15.
If you want a replacement of brand NEW phone, it is only possible for a refurbished phone, or money back. Beware!

Used it for a month now. This is the best Android phone that I have owned to date. It is fast, stable and everything just works. The Moto features are intelligent and nice to use. Not gimmicky at all. Best of all, OS is almost stock. Having come from Nexus 4, Moto X fits my needs to a T.
