The better thing I found in this phone is an extra sound function...
Just after use it we started to heard the usual Nokia fanboys whine.
AHAHAHAAHAHAHAH... bye bye preciousssssssssss 1100 trash!
(BTW we changed all from that 1100 bricks to these slim F3's)

This the best mobile phone i heve seen.
You can talk, you can send and recive SMS.
What is more to be needed???
Good battery life and verry cheap.
I love it!!!
The menu is a little strange but it works just fine.
For 50$ you have a fully functional telephone.

I work in a mobile phone store, and I have to say that this is the least user friendly phone I have ever encountered. Not having a ordinary menu for choosing settings, but instead having to use codes is one of the stupidest ideas I've ever heard of within the cell phone business. Considering that this is a phone for people who most likely haven't had many phones before, makes it even worse.

Plain and simple... but you have the things you need. Not a toy like others I had before but does the job great.

Bought this phone as a 3rd phone to use when in Slovakia - to avoid roaming costs. With 5 SK (literally a few pennies) you can get a prepaid card, so that it's a superb "incoming calls only" phone due to its size. And makes a nice conversation piece in 1st workd countries. In terms of functions, sms, email, well, that's what Nokias and Blackberrys are for.
BUT: the model they sell in Slovakia has only 3 languages programmed into it: Slovak, Czech, and Hungarian (I think) - even if one of the manuals included in the box is in English. What's an English speaker to do? Come on, Motorola - what would it have cost to also include English? Otherwise, I am a fan.

well, i bought one and all i can say is that F3 is not for the regular phone user and may not satisfy everyone but if you're only into talking - go ahead! the phone looks great and works fine

It`s a great phone. Great design, keypad is really comfortable, the display is really clear, you can read it clearly even in direct sun light, battery holds great and it`s really simple. It`s a phone, that`s what it`s name says it is, that`s what it is. I always thought that a phone, a camera and a media player don`t mix. If you put so many features in a small unit, you have to make compromises in quality and design. If you want those features, buy separate units. A phone, a digital camera & an iPod. This one was meant for talking and it`s great at that. But I have a question regarding the language. Mine was bought from Italy, I`m from Romania and the menu has 3 language options. Italian, French and another one which I don`t really understand. Does anybody know if it`s possible to add or replace one of them ? I`m interested in English. If it`s possible to reinstall it`s software. Thanks & cheers.

Battery life is dismal, lucky if it lasts 4 days even when not talking much on it.
Motorola refunded my money and did not dispute the short battery life.
I would not recommend it.
