Battery - lasts somewhere between 1,5 - 2 days, it's very hard to drain the battery in 24 hrs for normal usage: ocasionally browsing the net, taking a few pictures, listening to music for about 4 hrs, calling, txt messages and so on. Battery charging takes a little over 2 hrs for a full charge. Very responsive, little lag.

Ok, so like i said i got the phone, it's pretty nice, it feels good in hand, it's solid, just about the right weight, not too heavy, not too lite, i hate tha lite feel of plastic phones, which is not the case here. Big display, nice looking notification light, I charged it for about 12-14 hours and I've used it for music, internet browsing, gps, 2g calls and video all day, with this usage i'm still 75% battery full, and i'm waiting to see if i can get trough till tomorrow night.
GPS - acurate positioning in about 10-20 seconds. Still using google maps, hope to find somth to use offline.
2G calls - reception is very good, and the sound is clear on both sides. The bad is that you have to put that speaker right to your ear, because the speaker grill is right at the end, so if you move the phone up and goes a bit above your ear you can't hear much. The speaker grill is annoyingly thin aluminum and bends easily to the fingernail, and also vibrates, maybe i can use a toothpick and some silicon to put a tiny amount around it so it doesn't vibrate anymore. I know... it's one of those "there i fixed it" situations but what can i do?!
CAMERA - I've tweaked the settings a bit, and it works acceptable for most situations, set the resolution to 5mp, because 8 seems a bit too much and doesn't deliver the detail it promises, so i'm fine with that.
Stock Software - works pretty good, not a lot of space, the phone came with a 2gb microSD but still not nearly enough for music, pics and videos. The music app doesn't have settings you can tweak for the SOUND and so on but it's decent and the sound is good ove 3,5 mm jack headphones.
PERFORMANCE - THERE IS A LITTLE BIT OF LAG, but not so much and it's something i can live with for this price. A bit of lag when i move between the screens, in the browser there's no pinch to zoom, but you do get zoom in and out buttons.
INTERNET - the connection speed is very good over wi-fi. I don't have a data plan yet and i'm not going to use one, it's pointless for me with all the routers in the area: work, home, downtown and so on.
CONTACTS - the android contact app, although very functional and it synced my contacts from 4 accounts: google, facebook, yahoo, skype is also nice, but it lacks functionality in terms of merging all those contacts into one, or taking some details and associating them with names. For instance you can't use details from something stored on a sim card and attach it to a yahoo messenger id and so on, you have to do that via google. When it snatches the pictures for your contacts from facebook, the avatar photos are low res, bad quality. and the in-call screen has some issues when drawing the area around the contact.
DISPLAY - for this type of display i can honestly say it's pretty impressive, the viewing angles are good, the sunlight legibility is also good, and the colors are amazing.
PHONE VIBRATION - could use a lot of improving... the vibrator inside must be very low quality, i've seen cheaper phones with a better vibrator than this...
THE LED NOTIFICATION - very useful and nice looking, but could use a setting to turn off, or just lower the intensity.
The phone doesn't feel cheap at all, it has a nice solid feel except for the annoying speaker grill in front i told you about.
I don't know if the display is plastic or glass on this one but it doesn't feel cheap although you might consider a phone cover just in case...
overall i've had it for about 24 hrs and i'm happy with it, just gotta finish syncing my contacs which is so very borring.
Too bad there's no canyogenmod or alternate software for it yet.

I'm not about the bells and whistles when it comes to a phone, as long as it looks good, and feels good in hand i don't need God knows what effects on it or stuff like that...
I bought it and i'm gonna get it tomorrow, as soon as i get it, i'll post my review on it and after i use if for a while i'll post another review. I looked for custom roms online but couldn't find any, hope there are developers somewhere working on it. It's a cool phone as far as i'm concerned.

AnonD-58241, 08 Jun 2012Hy.Can somebody please help me.Who is better mobile phone: ... moreThe LG Optimus 2x is better, due to it's more powerful CPU and GPU. But in the same/similar price range you should also be able to find the Motorola Atrix, which is much better than both.

This phone is very good only problem is Skype does not work well and fails.
You tube works perfectly
Can't play hd videos smoothly. But plays low res video smoothly. Internal memory is only about 300mb. Sd card can extend but still can't instal unlimited apps as internal memory runs out even apps are on sd card. But is ok for the price.
Front camera is ok for g talk but g talk fails too.
Design and looks fantastic.battery life is good but I wish would need to be doubled to run a day with heavy use. it comes with Android endless features.
Things I wish to improve is
Skype to work
Battery life
To play hd videos
To support large capacity memory card like 64GB
Increase internal memory to at least 4GB

Chubby, 30 May 2012Doesn't seem like anyone has used one so don't understand c... moreyou want hands on experience knowledge?. its a really good phone it is so underated. i had the samsung galaxy ace on a £15 a month contract that was my first ever android device. i thought that was good then recentley about a month and a half ago i got the motoluxe on a contrat and it is suprisingly very good. although it has the same 800mhz processor as the galaxy ace its not even sluggish even with upto 3 heavy apps(which is good). the battery life gets me through a day of music playing at 75 brightness(good outdoor visibility in this setting and above) i hope this helps

One of the best phones around for its price! And as for the specs don't fools you the 800 mhz single core and adreno 200. this phone has adobe flash support like no other with these specs plays all the latest game like shadowgun, riptide and others with great performance. in some benchmarks it scored better than desire hd and to all better than optimus black. The battery is very good (2-3 full days). Its slim has awesome screen and very fast in browsing the internet!the camera is average with a little blur after shot and when viewing the photo.

Chubby, 30 May 2012Doesn't seem like anyone has used one so don't understand c... moreHands on, have white version. Mentioned colour as headphones look very cheap and are not colour matched to device. Despite same processor as defy and only adreno 200 graphics as opposed, if you benchmark it it is slow, however in reality it is as fast as say a Lumia 710, or indeed a galaxy w both with 1.4Ghz processors not bad for a 800 meg chip. Browsing is fast no lag in text. Speaker is junk and vibrates metal grill even at low volume. Camera seems more like a 3mp than 8! Screen is so good though, could be taken as ips, or indeed second genetation slcd. It is brighter than xperia s, and also brighter and clearer in my opinion than even galaxy III, not a lover of super amoled, or amoled plus. This phone scores highly in screen department. Looks and acts like a much more powerful phone, on paper its junk in reality I love it!! Thanks Moto.

crossover, 28 May 2012One quick question...i need your opinion and help what to b... moreDEFY+ is a more powerful device in both hardware (CPU and battery primarely) and construction.
This on the other hand has a bigger screen and slightly better design.
@Chubby: It's a decent phone, just wish it had the HW of the DEFY+ and it would be perfect. The UI can be a bit slow, so I would advise to use a more snappy launcher like launcherpro. Or root + overclock.

Please remember guys that this uses an ARM Cortex A5 processor. This processor is very power-efficient and will out-perform older higher-clocked processors like the Cortex A8.
