It is the capacitive sensing that has that feature. Even then, not all capacitive sensing screens allow true multi touch.

resistive touch screens can support multi touch.
it just requires some different type of sensors but there is hardly any company who installed that on there resistive touch screen phones

wow this looks like a nice phone i dont really like the older moto phones but i like the look of ther touchscreen this phone looks like a book or something still cool tough !!it has symbian OS yeahh ??

This is a pretty good touch screen phone with many feautres. But the battery power sucks as I need to charge the phone daily even with minimal usage.
With the photo snapping button at the side of the phone, it can be a hassle taking pics. Needs getting use to. Other than that, its a real good phone.
