This phone (and its screen) used to look so large when it came out. Not this size is standard

I've had this phone since it was first released, and replaced the battery and screen once so far, battery is getting old, and screen is cracked again so time for replacement.. again. lol It won't die.

Best thing about this phone is how solid it feels (like the Moto X2). It doesn't feel hollow like a lot of new ubiquitous glass sandwich phones.

The Nexus 6 was a beast. The speakers were amazing! The screen was great and it was fast. The thing that let it down was the battery life was horrible.

There's lots of tutorials on YouTube explaining how to research a battery. Just search something like "replace battery for Nexus 6", and look for a video that seems the clearest to you.

You're going to want to invest in a toolkit that comes with tools that will help you open up the Nexus 6. There's a good chance that the battery replacement will come with a free toolkit set, but if not, there's plenty of cheap $10 toolkits on Amazon and eBay.

With your battery replacement, toolkit, and preferred youtube video, just follow the process to take apart the phone, replace the battery, and follow the video in reverse steps to put your pixel back.

                              Voila.

If you think it'd be easier, you could also grab a rectangular magnet and position screws and pieces correspondingly according to the original layout of the phone, so that you don't lose pieces as easily.

                              Hope this helps!
