Motorola One stops by TENAA, gets specs confirmed

Shortly after the Motorola One Power certification surfaced, the Motorola One device also appeared online with the specs sheet revealed along with some TENAA renders.

For now, it seems that the two handsets will differ in design - the Motorola One should incorporate a glass back while the One Power will stick to the all-aluminum shell - while the hardware remains pretty similar. At least that's what the rumor mill suggests so far.

The TENAA listing reads a 6.18-inch notched display with 1080 x 2246 pixel resolution and tall 19:9 aspect ratio. The chipset is likely Snapdragon 636, judging by the specs listed in the report, and uses 3, 4 or 6GB of RAM paired with 32, 64 and 128GB of internal storage, respectively. microSD card expansion is possible as well.

On the back, we find the same camera alignment and sensors - 16MP + 5MP while the front has a slightly higher-resolution 12MP shooter compared to the One Power. The battery capacity is 2,820 mAh.

So if the previous reports are anything to go by, the One Power (XT1942-1) will have a bigger battery and seemingly sturdier design due to the all-aluminum shell while the Motorola One (XT1943-1) will settle for smaller battery but will offer more memory options and presumably wireless charging due to the glass back.

We will probably know soon enough if the Chicago event on August 2 is really about the Motorola One-series.
