Motorola P30 Note arrives officially with ZUI 4.0
Motorola quietly unveiled the One and One Power just ahead of IFA 2018. The phones arrived with stock Android, and while the former is an entirely new device, the latter shared some features with the Motorola P30.
It appears that it does not just have similar specs, it also is from the same series. Yes, that’s right - the Motorola One Power was silently introduced in China as Motorola P30 Note.
The phone has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset as the regular P30. The SoC is coupled with 4 GB or 6 GB RAM, while the storage available is 64 GB. At least there is a microSD slot for up to 128 GB more.
The screen arrives with a 6.2” LCD panel and a massively tall ratio of 18.7:9, although Motorola tries to promote it as 19:9. The resolution is 2246 x 1080 pixels, and there is a notch on top for good measure.
We already know the Motorola One Power has a 16 + 5 MP main camera on the back, but the Chinese website reveals more details on the setup. The primary sensor comes with an f/1.8 lens, while the secondary that is mostly for Bokeh mode has an f/2.2 aperture. The configuration is coupled by a dual-tone LED flash.
There is also a fingerprint scanner on the metal back panel, marked with the Moto logo. The selfie shooter is 12 MP with fixed focus, f/2.0 lens, and 1.25μm pixel size. It supports some AI Beauty features.
There is one big difference between Motorola P30 Note and the Motorola One Power - the lack of stock Android due to the complicated situation with Google and the Chinese government. This allows the ZUI 4.0, borrowed from the discontinued ZUK smartphones, to make an appearance once again.
This is now the third Lenovo-owned smartphone with the user interface after the Lenovo Z5 and the Motorola P30. It might not have Google Services, but arrives with its rendition of split screen, dual apps, etc.
The dimensions of the phone are 156 x 76 x 8.4 mm, and it weighs 198 grams. The weight comes from the massive 5,000 mAh battery that is powering the Motorola P30 Note. The phone costs CNY1,999 ($292/€250) for the 4/64 GB version, while the 6/64 GB variant is CNY2,299 ($335, €290). There is only one color option though - Midnight Black.
The cheaper one is already up for sale with JBL L20R headphones as a gift, while the more powerful variant is yet to receive a launch date.

just because 2 companies come up with the same solution to the same problem doesn't mean they copied it. its just that it is the best way to do it. if u ask 10 people the same question and they all give u the same answer Does that mean they copi...
